I’d physically get sick prior to going in and cry in the parking lot as I pulled up to work. I can even remember calling out sick FROM the parking lot! Now, I’m at a job that I look forward to coming to. I’ve been here for 10 years and I absolutely love it. I look forward to Mondays instead of dreading them now! This subject is great. With me staying in my toxic job situation where the people were just outright messy. I can honestly say quitting was like being freed from prison. 16 years I stayed. This taught me money isn't everything. I took a 10,000 a year pay cut and I'm happier than I've ever been. Thank God in His mercy and grace I made it that long. Not to mention how he blessed me with my new job. Kudos to you!! Happy New Year, praying for you even better than the last.

I worked in a toxic environment where I cried almost everyday. I would see my boss and immediately get a massive migraine headache. I didn’t realize how toxic it was until I started crying one day and literally could not stop. Years after leaving that job I had nightmares about my former boss. To be on the other side of that, with a job I love feels amazing. It’s a feeling we all deserve.
Ughh I cried many days. I remember getting feedback about something and crying in front of my boss. She thought it was the feedback but it was the job smh. I’m so happy to be on the other side and happy for you too ❤️

This was so inspiring! Congratulations to you on a successful journey! I am a bit older than you, 55 years old to be exact. After 31 years as an educator I have retired and want to pursue styling. I have completed my last course at FIT and am looking for assistant positions to get some experience. It is scary especially at my big age, but fashion is so important to me and I know God wouldn’t put this on my heart without expecting me to follow up. I get excited that I’m on the wake up list in the morning I brew my coffee. My outfit is laid out fashion and colors of my love language in corporate America, but when I get to that office, it’s me myself, and I I have learnt to not interact and if I do, it’s very little and I am such a social butterfly. I can talk to a paper bag but when you’re incorporate America, I do accounting for a living. I have a learned to just do my work and go home and I love that for me.❤❤

I’m only 4 minutes in and girl! This is exactly where I am. I HATE my job. Im at that point of crying about it before going in. It’s toxic and takes too much of my time. What sucks is that I don’t know what I want to do next. I’m deep into my career and feel like i’ve made the wrong decision. No one gets it. They just see the success but I am so unhappy.
You are where you’re supposed to be. I would recommend figuring out what you like hobbies, other careers and interests. But you have to take some time to think about it and explore. 🤎

This is literally my reality and my last day is tomorrow! Thank you for sharing. This was so inspiring! Congratulations to you on a successful journey! I am a bit older than you, 55 years old to be exact. After 31 years as an educator I have retired and want to pursue styling. I have completed my last course at FIT and am looking for assistant positions to get some experience. It is scary especially at my big age, but fashion is so important to me and I know God wouldn’t put this on my heart without expecting me to follow up. I understand the journey but like you I must keep going! Thanks for this video

I get excited that I’m on the wake up list in the morning I brew my coffee. My outfit is laid out fashion and colors of my love language in corporate America, but when I get to that office, it’s me myself, and I I have learnt to not interact and if I do, it’s very little and I am such a social butterfly. I can talk to a paper bag but when you’re incorporate America, I do accounting for a living. I have a learned to just do my work and go home and I love that for me.❤❤

This is exactly where I am. I HATE my job. Im at that point of crying about it before going in. It’s toxic and takes too much of my time. What sucks is that I don’t know what I want to do next. I’m deep into my career and feel like i’ve made the wrong decision. No one gets it. They just see the success but I am so unhappy.
You are where you’re supposed to be. I would recommend figuring out what you like hobbies, other careers and interests. But you have to take some time to think about it and explore. 🤎
