The 60 has the manual gas shut off, does it not. And the 620 has to build oil pressure to start?

Yes there is an oil line to the fuel bowl. If no oil pressure is there it shuts off the fuel supply.

Does it sound like maybe the carb has some dirt in it..? Doesn’t idle smooth.

Ya it did have some carb issues.
