Marriages and other similar events are the connector links of village life. Lack of infrastructure makes it imperative that all residents chip in with their bit to make the event a success. Rural societies in Maharashtra too follow this same practice.
It's good to know and see that the long awaited 'sadak' has materialised, be it in the kachha form. This will help bring access to remote villages. And yours is as remote as can possibly be.
