    A couple of things I noticed
    #1 the drivers side is the main living side. Most rv’s the passengers side is the main living side with the drivers side being the utility side. Now this could be cool if you are traveling with another trailer/ group when you park the trailers side by side your living areas would be together. But at the same time this could bite you going into RV parks as most have the power water and sewer connections on the drivers side. I’d hate to have the sewer connection in front of me when I walk out the door or hanging out under the awning.
    #2 you say you like leaving the side door open with the screen closed. Now that’s great however where the door and awning are located if you leave the door open the awning will have an issue opening, and I would imagine if the awning is open the door will swing open and hit the arms of the awning. I know you can stop it from swinging to far by adding a chain or some other device.
    #3 it’s odd that you seam to have controls for everything in 3 different locations. I’d suggest moving them to one location near the door. That includes the radio, tank meters, awning control, heat thermostat, water heater, water pump, and solar charge controller (I would find it super annoying to have to crawl over the bed to check the solar status.)
    #4 it’s nice having that folding table but it’s a little weird that it covers the window, and because it covers the window you don’t get a window shade on that window.
    I know these are my opinions and not everyone will agree with them, and I do realize some of the things I mentioned are probably the way they are due to budgetary reasons

    I mean if it was 25 years ago when toy haulers were coming alive then I’d say you guys were on a good start but there’s a way to make industrial design feel and look but also giving it a warm comforting feel when you set up camp and unload. The greatest compliment you can receive is when someone comes inside and has no idea you hauled your toys to camp and were pulling their leg but this trailer screams a feeling as if they were inside a car hauler with some beds bolted to the sides and the smell of someone’s poop because it has to travel out if the bathroom to be sucked outside through a fan 6 feet away while your worried after one night of poop overflow making your guests find a tree because your a holding tanks will be overflowing the first night… 15 gallon black 15 gallon grey?? This screams divorced dads and their 19 year old sons designed it all with help from cousin who just got out of the military specialized in logistics and never seen a reason for the VIP and guest hospitality platoon. Martha Stewart nor any women was consulted for the making of this product lol…

    During prototyping, did no one state the driver side entry was unsafe for shoulder of the road? Also the hookups on front driver side as well as door makes campsites impossible. Then again 50g water 17/17 holding tanks makes desert camping a bit difficult too. This is basically a really expensive overnighter/car hauler. But it’s VERY nice at being that! Great trailer for the drag strip or race tracks overnight or two. A beautiful garage with beds and bath.

      The holding tanks are all 28/28 now. The drivers side door is a concern for some and a bonus for others. Different strokes.

    • @Captndarty
      @Captndarty 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      First off who pulls over to the side of the road to check something out in the trailer? I’ve never had a need to do so on the shoulder of a highway. Secondly if you’re staging your snowmobile along a road to ride off of that road will likely be covered in snow and people will be driving at 10 miles an hour or so looking for a spot to stage as well. Thirdly if you’re staging to ride the passenger side is going to be butt up against a snowbank and there’s no place to relax and utilize an awning and get out so for snowmobiling driver side makes sense.

    Really nice setup, very well thought out. As someone who does a lot of RVing, I only have 2 concerns:
    1) Those are really small Black/Grey tanks, especially for 8 people.
    2)The back "porch" is nice, but not very accessible through that screen. If 8 people are hanging out at camp, lifting that screen up and down every time someone needs something from inside the rig is going to get old. You really should consider some kind of traditional door like what they use on RV toy haulers. Otherwise, you're walking all the way down to the other door every time, which means it won't really be used as a porch much if that's the case. Man takes the path of least resistance

    • @LifeElevatedTrailers
      @LifeElevatedTrailers  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The comment about the screen door is a good idea. We haven't had issues with 28 gallons not being enough yet. If that changes we can definitely adapt.

    this looks like the cimarron freedom toy haulers just a little more utilitarian. I think thats a good trade off to get a 2nd side by side in there.
    and if the price is anything like cimarron toy haulers this is gotta be 100k +.
    what size of truck is in this vid pulling it?? i would think you would have to have minimum 1ton. dually even with everything loaded up and all the tanks full.

    • @LifeElevatedTrailers
      @LifeElevatedTrailers  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The truck is a 1 ton GMC. Believe it or not I pulled this trailer with my F-150 with air bags and heavier ply tires and it did fine. I hooked it on as a joke and ended up going all the way to Saint George with it with 0 issues but I would definitely recommend a 3/4 or 1 ton for this trailer loaded up.
      As far as price you’d be surprised what they come in at fully loaded.

    That external T for the propane, I dunno, maybe it's just me but I think it should be inside a door like the other utilities to prevent it from getting knocked off and or broken...... Solar panel roof option maybe ? Check out the new LTO cells for battery...50,000 cycles, last a lifetime pretty much. Barn door's behind ramp with walk through door that can open and latch to the ramp in open position, awning cover maybe, maybe slide out.... air ride ? What no water slide off the roof :))

    • @mattphillips1910

      A "wet bath" is found in many cabover campers. It's combination of toilet and shower in one unit. He is referring to a "dry bath" where those two are in different areas. Nice toy hauler! And since it is built by a company that started out with horse trailers, it's safe to assume that the trailer has been built to carry heavy weight behind the axles. Which is something many toy hauler manufacturers really don't do very well. I can think of several over the years who have had problems with this.

    • @LifeElevatedTrailers
      @LifeElevatedTrailers  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I can, and have, made a wet bath work......but you need a crowbar and a jug of Crisco to get me in and out of there. :-) Still, this is definitely a contender. Thanks for a great video.

    There is a whole lot to like about this trailer overall. But it still needs a bunch of refinements incorporated into its configuration in order to bring the functional execution of the hotel features up to common current market performance expectations. It’s missing a lot of common details expected at this market position.
    I find it puzzling why this trailer is set up for drivers/road side camping setup access instead passenger/curbside camping setup. It would be interesting to hear why that setup was chosen over a curbside setup. Also the rear porch bug screen needs to be reconfigured for a magnetic slit access so you do not have to raise and lower the complete screen every time for access.
    I like that this is set up with the understanding and intent to be used in dusty, dirty, muddy and wet environments. Easy wash down scrubbing capability is a nice feature.
    Overall, nice unit. But the feature and hotel components arrangement show the lack of the experience, refinement and placement experience the established RV manufactures bring to the table. A lot of details most RV users take for granted are either missing or clumsily placed on this design. I expect feedback from end users will provide for plenty of input for future refinements to be made to bring the convince and hotel functionality of these units up to market grade and standards.

    • @LifeElevatedTrailers
      @LifeElevatedTrailers  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I think you are missing the point of why we built this trailer. There is a huge market segment that is more concerned with room to bring their toys over "hotel features." We built it spartan on purpose because it allowed for the room to bring all of the toys on vacation without having to take separate trailers. The drivers side door is just how the design worked best with how trails west manufacturers. We have full blown living quarters horse trailers that are nicer than most homes. It's not a lack of "refinement and placement experience the established RV manufactures bring to the table" its that we built this with a different consumer in mind. Watch the living quarters horse trailer/toy hauler video we did and you'll realize you are sorely mistaken with that comment.

    • @americanrambler4972
      @americanrambler4972 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LifeElevatedTrailers I viewed the living quarters horse trailer/toy hauler video you suggested. And yes, I think I did miss a key point on why you did this trailer the way you did. I did not realize just how custom and individual customer specifications driven each of your units are. I re viewed this video and saw a number details I missed that lead to my hotel features refinement comments. Most of the refinements I was concerned about were actually installed. Most of what I was concerned about was actually incorporated into this unit, but were not highlighted on your walk through as you were showing the more unique aspects of this build.
      Although, I still do think the side and rear door bug screens have better options for better function, durability and utilization.
      I see you are catering to a premium grade of trailer and you are approaching the design and configuration of your product from a different market position. One I am not all that used to seeing.

    Most importantly… does it have an RVIA certification sticker on it? I’ve got a beautiful 48’ vintage outlaw that has none of these design quirks. It’s professional built and WAY nicer than any fifth wheel in any of the RV parks I’ve been to. Way nicer…. Means lots of jealous A$$HOLES asking if it’s a horse trail conversation or a lawn trailer conversion… then the idiot park managers start in about this useless sticker and this RVIA BS that the big rv manufacturers have come up with. I’ve been told that without the sticker I must leave the parks… I always respond with… “ That’s not an issue… I’ll leave when my paid reservation is completed. Get away from me.”… but I’m cut from a different clothe than most… Once they start their BS… I wouldn’t leave early if I hated the place. That said… it’s an issue if you want to go to different RV parks. Not so much for an adventurer or boondocks. Nice rigs!

    Door on drivers side is stupid to start with, horrible interior design that looks cheaply made and done, sink bathroom stove and master bed all smooshed in a small corner of a huge trailer 🤦🏼‍♂️

      I love comments that show how some people are so self absorbed that if something isn’t made for their purposes they can’t understand why it would be a good fit for someone else. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️. Be a better human; especially on Christmas.
