Mongolia's pretty expensive probably because it's one of the most renowned, ancient, powerful and most romantic civilations in the world and especially since it was one of the only ways to be able to trade very expensive things (that are still traded/sold today), known as silk, feathers, gold, any kind of the finest materials, through the Silk Road.
Mongolia is expensive for its citizens because of the low pay people receive. As an American living in Ulaanbaatar Mongolia I find it very cheap to live here.At this time 1 dollar US is worth $ 3,300 MT. I love it here and the Mongolian people are great
Very helpful one. Like your video a lot. It would be exciting if you have shown in detail that any sedan car might be a taxi in Mongolia even there is no taxi sign on them, after you stand by the road raising hand They are driven by individuals. Private cars, private drivers mostly. Next, the swan flower (хун цэцэг) is called Petunia. Also, all prices in the video are minimum cost, the lowest, I should mention. Keep up vlogging. Applause applause.
Thanks for the video, watching from Vietnam here Prices in Mongolia are quite similar to Vietnam's, meat is (un)surprisingly cheap but lunch and veggies seem a bit expensive compared to us
@@turuus5215 That's a moniker, LOL, not a girl's name as I recently found out. I'm not certain where in Mongolia my ancestors lived. My dad was Hungarian so I might also be Tibetan. Right now I'm in a chaotic Western hell hole called the USA (it wasn't always this bad). I look more Native American than Asian but I've got that classic Mongol head shape.
How come you're Tibetan while your mum is Mongolian? Doesn't make sense. Also, I never heard something like "Mongolian head shape". Are you referring to big cheekbones some of us have?
@@turuus5215 No, my mom is white LOL, German. My dad would be Mongol & possibly Tibetan because many Hunnu migrated there centuries back. There are still many Mongols in Tibet, in an autonomous province. As for the cheekbones, LOL, yes mine are prominent. By head shape I mean we have that flat spot above the forehead (my forehead is also flat). You see that with Mongols & indigenous mostly. Wow that is cool you are part Japanese! A great mix if you ask me. You likely have a very high IQ! 😁
Lunch at 7000 MNT is quite expensive..... May be because it is the biggest city? I would expect 3500 MNT for a reasonable lunch. I went to New Bumbugur Trade Center to take a look. Thought the food there could be cheap. But realized it was as expensive as the food at State Department Store food court....
This diner was located near State Department Store which explains the price. But nowadays, 7000 won't be considered expensive actually. Maybe 10 years ago that was the case. I guess it's because of the inflation and stuff. I doubt that you can buy any decent meal here with 3500 MNT now. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the video :) Now we need to know the other costs like transportation, housing, utilities, etc. etc. Also, assortment of occupations wages/carreer salaries, and so on.
For US citizens, You do not need a visa if visiting for fewer than 90 days, but your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your date of arrival. For stays for more than 30 days, register with Mongolian Immigration within seven days of arrival.
Yes, it's a safe country with good people. Although Mongolians are mostly Buddhists, we have a considerable amount of Christians and Muslims here. 1 USD equals 2,848.73 MNT.
I love how the MNT Prices are Displayed against USD values! I spent 3 YEARS in Mongolia from 2017 to 2020 on contract and as clearly a Foreigner......I never met a more Xenophobic, more Racist Attitude to anyone that clearly wasn't Mongolian than in Mongolia anywhere throughout Asia, in that time EVER,..... Like, they beat the Chinese at Racial Superiority Projection !!! FFS there are Swazstikas everywhere to remind people to focus on Mongolian Bloodlines and nothing else !!!! Moral of the story: the most expensive thing is flowers 😄
I am really enjoying these videos where I can see the day by day this your country. Greathings from Brasil 🇧🇷

I love this country because of the people. Just wish I could speak Mongolian instead of Russian, Chinese, or English.

Very affordable indeed...👍👍🇸🇻
The price is the same in Philippines.❤️❤️

I love this! Thank you for sharing!
Looks like Heaven on Earth from here (sadly, "here" in many ways is too shocking to show). Wish I could emigrate this very minute & never look back! 🌄

Why is everything so cheap but the meat is so expensive?
Mongolian meat is one of the most health, sweetter than other meats
the meat is not expensive if you buy directly from the herders in the country side
Reminds me of Kazakhstan
Philippines is way more expensive than mongolia.
