one of the things I've noticed that people tend to overlook the solar engines blinded debuff. It gives -40% to accuracy meaning if you can sit it on archers not only are you killing models but you're lowering the damage of the entire unit as well.
I really like the use of skinks as backline defense and reserves. I think it's a good strategy that a lot of races can make use of. The units don't have to be super fast or anti large, just affordable. Even if they won't win the fight they can get in the way until other resources can be devoted and plug gaps, or work their way around the main line to flank
Lol i big fun of solar engine and in most games what it face armored targets it kills ~50-100 of them with all his ammunition. And its pretty big. Things are simple here - even without main ap his missile have so much damage what it will overkill most infantry models what it hits. Also it have good mobility, sometimes you can move engine to the flank of the fighting line and in this scenario every shot will penetrane like 10 models at once. Just dont shoot you own stegadon.

Honest question, does AP really matter on the solar engine when it has 403 missile damage? Even if half of that gets absorbed it should still be able to take out infantry models fairly easily.
Is artillery splash-damage shared in the same way as infantry splash-damage? When a lord or hero hits multiple targets, the damage is divided up amongst them. Does it work the same for artillery? This might make it worse against armoured infantry than it seems, if it functions this way. Also worth keeping in mind that the 403 missile damage shown for Solar Engines is a representation of damage over 10 seconds. The actual damage per shot might be higher or lower depending on the Solar Engine's rate of fire (it seems like it takes longer than 10 seconds to reload, so I suspect it's higher than 403 damage per shot)

It will take me 10-20 minutes for the me to load or start a new campaign. It baffles me because I go to recommended settings and the game will even put everything on medium for graphics at large unit size. It runs slow sporadically during campaign turns and takes 5-10 minutes to load battles. But what's weird is I can play the battles without a problem at all even if the graphics are on high. I've checked for viruses, downloaded nvidia, geforce, updated everything and I'm just at my wits end with this damn thing. I don't want to buy anything to add onto the computer because I don't want to waste the money in case that doesn't help. I havent even had the joy to try and play this on multiplayer because I dont want someone waiting 20 minutes just to battle me, so if anyone has any pointers that would be lovely....
Load times are a different "type" of issue from performance once you get into a game, fyi. TWWH is notorious for really long load times. You want to install the game on a SSD.
You should probably check out the Processor, since it's the part that does all the computing and thinking for the game. Does your computer also have an SSD? Graphics cards are not the end/all, be/all for computer games. If one part of your computer is underperforming, then the whole rig is not performing at 100%

Kind of a waste of ammo to use it on high model count infantry and it may not take out on one hit low model count heavy infantry
