I like the use of negative space with this style.
It’s great to see more control and practically no wastage of materials with impressive results. I’ve watched a few flip flow dirty pour paintings and the wastage and lack of control has put me off.
Love it! Always wondered why more artists don’t put holes in the bottom of the cup, cover with a tab of masking tape, then fill for traveling pours. But, I digress. You are awesome and I appreciate that you share experiments and experience. Just checked out your Amazon list. Very helpful. Thank you so much. Love your work!

Admittedly, without my glasses or lenses I am a blind old bat (& always one of those people who see shapes etc where there are none), but if you look just to the right of centre, you might just see what I see, which is a white house or 2. Like the kind you might see on holiday in Greece. (I know, I'm madder than a hatter, too 😆😆).
But, as ever, I love the outcome & the colours are sea-sidey gorgeous!!

I do love this creation. When you blew out the first side of the picture, I thought maybe she will not blow out the second side, because I saw in it a wonderful kind of Himalayan Mountain Chain profile.
But as it is now, it is for sure beautiful.

If you want to do a flip and drag, but don't want to use silicone, should you use more paint in the cup? I am hoping you can do it without the silicone, as I don't want it in my paintings. I really like this method and your painting.
You will get cells without silicone. The density of the white intermingling with colors will create some lovely cells. No need for more paint, just be sure to get that white involved :)

it pops air bubbles and warms the paint so the silicone can rise and create cells. It is a chef's torch.

Can the Stone coat resin be used over silicone without cleaning first? I am wondering what the description it can be used with silicone means?
You have to clean the silicone off the piece before you resin. I have a bunch of tutorials in my playlist on my channel. I cover from startup to shipping.
