Once again, I appreciate you taking the time to release a long format video! I can really feel the hot humidity coming off the screen 🥵
Glad to see you come back to Go Go Curry, great place for a quick lunch or dinner! Also, going to Morimori Sushi felt right, especially after you showed the おしぼり wrap with all its locations across the Noto island. I sincerely hope the people will overcome the terrible aftermath of the earthquake on New Year's Eve. 🙏

Thank you for watching the video. It was really hot at the time. I think the maximum temperature was probably over 35 degrees. A hot day may not be the best time for sightseeing, but Kanazawa and the Hokuriku region in the summer were still very attractive and fun places. The damage from the earthquake on the Noto Peninsula is still great, and it seems that it has not yet fully recovered, but I hope that we can all cooperate and help each other and do our best.

@@Kappa2700s Thank you for taking the time to answer, I really appreciate it! I share your opinion in this regard. Last summer, I went to the Hokuriku region as well. What an enormously hot, yet satisfying experience it was! As always, I'm looking forward to your upcoming adventures! ☺

Nice video with great quality, I really like how you chose not to add music and let the natural sounds speak for themselves! The Hokuriku region looks lovely, I am travelling to Japan in a few months, not quite sure if I will have time to make it here unfortunately but I will try! 😊

I'm very happy that you liked my video. I've been to the Hokuriku region several times, so this time I didn't go into any paid facilities, but I did visit most of the popular spots. Kanazawa City, which I introduced first, is also popular with foreigners, and can be reached from Tokyo by the high-speed Shinkansen, so it's a highly accessible and recommended tourist spot. If you have the opportunity in the future, why not visit the Hokuriku region?

@@Kappa2700s Thank you :) we have actually decided to visit Kanazawa now! We have decided on the following route when visiting Japan. We will begin in Tokyo, then travel to Kanazawa, then Takayama (planning to visit the Shirakawago mountain village from here) afterwards we will travel down to Kyoto, then Osaka before returning to Toyko. Please could I ask you a question in regards to travel. What do you think is the best option relating to rail travel? Would you suggest a JR pass to cover us for the time we are there? I heard that Shinkansens are not covered under a JR pass? Please could I also ask what might be a good way to transport our luggage? I have read that taking luggage on Shinkansen isnt always possible or is quite pricey if you do. Are you able to take luggage on a non-bullet train/standard train outside of Tokyo? I am thinking if we can do this between Kamazawa and Takayama that would be good, and then perhaps use a luggage transport service when going down to Kyoto and Osaka, as we will use Shinkansen to travel down here and then again back to Tokyo. Many thanks in advance!

@@tombennett4895 I think the route Tokyo-Kanazawa-Takayama-Shirakawa-go-Takayama-Kyoto, Osaka is fine. I think this is a common route.
Regarding carrying luggage on the Shinkansen, as long as the total of the three sides is within 160cm (62.9 inches). However, if it is larger than that, a reservation is required. If you are going with a large carry-on bag, it is a good idea to ask a station attendant before boarding. It seems that large carry-on bags can be loaded on the Hida Express without a reservation.
As for the Japan Rail Pass, if you travel on the route Tokyo-Kanazawa-Takayama-Kyoto, Osaka with a regular ticket, it will cost about 30,000 yen (208.57 USD). If you return from there to Tokyo, it will be about 45,000 yen (312.86 USD).
The JAPAN RAIL PASS for ordinary cars costs 50,000 yen (347.62 USD) for 7 days, so this route is not very good value. Also, the Japan Rail Pass cannot be used on the Nozomi, the fastest train, so you will need to take the Hikari or Kodama, which have many stops and take a little longer. However, if you are traveling between Osaka and Tokyo, you can ride the Nozomi for an additional 4,960 yen (34.41 USD). You can purchase it at the ticket office. However, if you use it, it doesn't feel like you are getting a good deal on this route.
It may be a little cheaper to buy a regular ticket for this route, but the free pass does have the convenience of not having to buy a ticket every time and being able to get on and off freely.
If you have any other questions, please ask. I will answer to the best of my ability.
