In terms of winners, Jaida really did get the shittiest hand dealt ever. Having to deal with you know who and a weirdly edited season as a result, lip syncing for the crown in her living room, not being able to perform or tour for a while after her win, and losing out on plenty of money because of those opportunities lost because of COVID. Then as soon as the world was starting to seem normal and she could finally relish her win, there had already been god knows how many queens crowned with All Stars and international seasons, plus Symone swooped in and stole the spotlight before Jaida ever got a chance to shine on her own. Now she can finally tour and perform but she won’t draw in as many people as she would have right after she won. I’m glad she’s getting a second chance now on All Stars 7.

i think her makeup has just definitely changed a lot ever since her original season and all stars. compared to her finale in season 8 and now her makeup is softer now. maybe thats why. and maybe surgery too but when i saw her on pit stop she still looked like naomi. it might be the stage lights too
