    The biggest signature of an Alvvays song is a killer bridge and multiple hooks.

    it does have that alvvays vibe, also a mix of 60s surf rock, which is one of the vibes alvvays also like in their music videos, cool!

    Background vocals reminds me of The Beatles. Nice recording. I’m a Guitarist that is lost when it comes to recording techniques. I’ve alvvays, pun intended left the recording parts up to third party producer/engineer. I do however know my way around a looper pedal, which helps build up parts.

    Just found your channel and absolutely love it. I was wondering if you would ever do a band that is more synth-dominated, like Future Islands, Black Marble, or Small Black?
    I absolutely love your videos but as someone who produces only on keyboards I would love a synth-oriented “sound alike”!! Also would love to see a studio tour video- if you have one already I’d love a link. Can’t wait to binge the rest of your stuff- insanely talented!!

    • @bananalabs
      @bananalabs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey, Adam! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Yeah, absolutely. I definitely want to consider doing some synth based material in the very near future. Those are great artists, by the way! Turn on your notifications so you know when I upload those synth vids!😉💪🏻
      As far as a studio tour, I’d love to do one! Stay posted for that as well!
      Thank you for watching!

    my biggest problem is chord progressions, how do you create these great chord progressions? I watched your video on the strokes and the progression you had was amazing, how do you do it?

    Alvvays isnt something you can copy or repeat. The same goes for many other bands
