Thank you for your teaching. I caught one of your Wednesday night services a couple or 3 weeks ago but couldn't find any more. This one popped up on my Sunday morning Facebook. It took me this long to get through it. My cousin is a preacher in Moberly, Mo, and so I watch his, then My preacher, Greg Locke. I am going to do my best to add you to my regular teachings. You stirred up a couple things I hadn't considered before. I like that, and I LOVE all the scripture. I look up every one and usually end up posting all the scripture I read. I do have a problem I'm dealing with. 30 years or so ago I went to a special service. They offered to teach the gift of tongues. They told us to just start babbling and the Spirit would take over. I NEVER felt like the Lord was guiding me. I just felt like I was making stupid sounds. Eventually I stopped trying. I would like for the Spirit to be poured out on me and receive the gift of tongues as well as any other gift the Lord would be willing to give me. I want them all. For His glory. I know I have NO authority or ability accept what the Holy Spirit allows me to have. I want more, and I want a CLOSER relationship with Him. Please pray for me. I always pray for teaching, knowledge and for Him to cleanse me completely and fully and to draw my closer as I read His word. I just don't feel like I can get enough of Him.
