Patrick couldn't understand why Liz didn't go after higher-paying positions at the hospital. She rather just stand at the nursing station complaining about not having enough money to pay her bills. And you're right Gia was very ambitious. She had a heart and would do anything for herself and the people she loved. Even if she had to break the law. Black female characters are usually the supportive best friend. It was refreshing to see a black girl go after what she wanted. Even if she had to lie, cheat, or steal to get it. Then she would do a selfless act and all would be forgiven. Characters like that are more interesting to me. I really hope they bring the Gia Campbell character back. She needs to be there to support her brother and niece when the truth of Trina's paternity comes out. Plus the Gia and Posha showdown would be good tv. The new Nikolas is kind a lame. Maybe by having Gia return he can be redeemed???
@@dh9690 I thought that Patrick and Robin were a smart, ambitious couple and that her best storyline is with Stone and at that time Robin and Stone were a little bit younger than Nikolas and Gia are here. Even when Liz was married to Franco for example everything became all about Franco. The writers and the powers that be haven't given Nikolas much to do since his latest return and part of the problem is that Nikolas really doesn't have a lot of friends and family who are going to help him if he needs it and Ava can't help Nikolas because she can never get out of her own way and is always realizing that way too late. Lucky and Lulu aren't currently on "General Hospital" and there won't be a Lucky recast. I think that Gia is smart and ambitious like Carly is and is also very loyal like Carly is and she absolutely loved Nikolas unconditionally and he was able to see that his feelings matter which is something that is missing in all of his romantic relationships including his marriages to Emily and Ava.
