Nice , I have the exact same bike . Owned since new , now have a collector plate on it. 17800 km on mine . It was parked for 15 years in my garage , but started to get it back road worthy 2 years ago. Done lots of upgrades now , including suspension with a GSXR1000 shock and Race Tech fork springs. The gold Color chain did come stock on the Bandit BTW. I have a it at stage 1 with the 2” hole in the airbox and the idle speed screws out approximately 3 turns out. . 2 turns is a bit too lean .
Congratulations! What a great find! I've had one years ago and been looking for an OG Bandit in good condition here in the states as well, but they are a rare find.
Nice Suzuki 1200, legion of engine fans! a lot of them were Drag Raced! Hello from Nova Scotia Canada.
The engine is a masterpiece from Suzuki. Thanks for watching.
Goodness if that hasn't been restored it must have been kept in someone's living room. It's real NICE.
@@MothershipVideos it's just been sitting most it's life, only done about 1000kms per year

@@blackfire5179 yeah such a awesome old school bike with great heritage. Hope you find one.
Well said about the frame design. That and the GSXR-heritage and look on the engine.
@@impalaSS65 thanks for watching. Everyone loves a bandit.
I love this bike.
Good honest do-anything bike the Bandit12.. I had one for 10K miles, the only thing I didn't like was the seat comfort.
@@cpuuk yeah seat is a bit harsh as all your body weight is right in the saddle being a upright naked. A Corbin seat will make a big difference.
These were built and sold as privateer race bikes. Lots of them ended up as full time track bikes here in the USA.
@@MotorcycleMayhem595 a lot have been tracked, make a nice track weapon.
