(Made in Japan and I believe also imported to the USA) has a 4UP Gear-box with N at the bottom, also behind the headlight the KEY-SWITCH uses a 3 pin QC Connector which is usually where people tap into for switched USB Power, The Thai made model has a 4DOWN gearbox with can continually rotate through Neutral from 4N1, ( Which means that on the GEN1 bike if you want a SHIFT INDICATOR then you need to pay attention to which Shift Switch you purchase. As for any other differences, I'm not sure but I suspect there will be a few
