Hi Franca, thank you so much for this video🥰 please I heard from some GKS scholars that going through the university track is 50/50 cuz You might pass the first interview round by the University, but might not get selected by NIIED for the second round. Where as the embassy track, once you get to or pass the interview round, it’s 80% guaranteed you’ll be selected by NIIED and pass the rounds… Please how true is this🙏🏽
@@beckychidi-abel534 Hi Becky, sorry for the delayed response. that’s true. For the embassy round it’s easier to tell if you’ll make it to the finalists because once you pass first round selection (interview by the embassy) and pass second round selection (interview by your respective university, they’d offer you admission so you’re certain you’ll get in) and then third round selection ( usually by you but technically by niied because if your school offers you admission and you accept you then email niied informing them of your final choice) and at the end of the day niied’s selection is based off your email to them.
Hello Franca, please can you share your interview experience at the KCCN? What questions did they ask you and how the whole interview went. Thank you ✨
Please I'm applying through university track, and my school said I should submit 1 original 3 photocopies. Is it original of all documents including letter of recommendation and application and photocopies of all documents. Or just 3 photocopies of apostilled documents
@@Rociegold Hi, the ORIGINAL shouldn’t be your Original certificates . It should be the copies apostilled (which stands as your Original) + 3 photocopies of the apostilled documents.
@@Ssaemng I know like they said submit 1 original 3 photocopies. So I'm asking if I should make 3 photocopies each of all documents or just the authenticated documents. Because they dint specify. They just said "submit 1 original and 3 photocopies" through postal to the following address.
While choosing tracks, should we consider our backgrounds......i mean the certificates, the awards, the languages certificate Should they be considered while choosing a track
@@DARAMOLAEstherFolashade I don’t think that should be a primary thing because at the end of the day your documents will still go to the selected school(s) you’ve chosen and they make the decision so your certificate and awards are not pertinent in choosing a track for application. I want to apply but I'm a graduate but didn't graduate from any Nigeria University ,I finished my bachelor's degree in Togo under credit transfer but I just finished this year and my certificate is not yet out .. should I still apply to gks as graduate or undergraduate and if I should apply graduate will they consider knowing the facts that my degree isnt from my home country
That doesn't necessarily matter if your degree is not from your country as long as it's credible and done in English, and if not, then have IETLS/ TOPIK. As for which track UG/ G I'd say,, apply for graduate after all you are done with undergraduate unless you don't like your degree but I wouldn't advice you to do this year for UG, coz it's already out and the process is quite long and tiring much less if you don't have TOPIK since most UG courses are in korean 100% and GKS-G is next year so by then I guess your transcript will be out. Am applying next year too coz I finished this year. so if you want a preparation buddy, hit me up . I want one 😭.
@@Faithpreston5 you can apply for the graduates program as far as you meet the eligibility stated in the GKS guidelines (you can find that on the website @www.studyinkorea.go.kr) Also so far as the university you graduated from provides you with your degree certificate and complete transcript you can legalize the documents and apply for the Gks graduates program.
