I never thought that I will fall for anyone again in history C drama until I watched LLTG and saw Ling Bu Yi. No idea of what's being said because no English subtitles but we can see that Mr Wu Lei is not just a "pretty face".....he has alot of ideas, alternatives, perceptions, opinions to contribute to his role as LBY. 1:04 You can see the intensity of his passion for his work, his absolute dedication, the self-discipline/self-control he imposes on himself (workouts/diet) in order to portray LBY in this drama. He totally immersed himself & became LBY!!! He has the makings of a future Director but we hope that when it really happens, he still stays infront of the camera & not waste his good looks!!!!!!! I don't understand one TH-camr reacting to Wu Lei's acting in LLTG as subpar. She even said the acting bug hasn't clicked for him yet. Well, he's still young but you can see he's improving his acting in every role he does. As opposed to other c-actors who are already good at acting but only bring one-note performance, meaning stuck in the same way of acting bec they know they're already good. Lei Lei engages with his roles, he may not act perfectly accdg to the high standards of some ppl but we can see from the bts that he works seriously and hard for his character. He can and will improve as he gets more experience. I agree with a comment here abt him being a director. I can see his potential for that, too.
I know the youtuber you are talking about but I think that's because (she) reviewed him at the first part of LLTG. Wu Lei's acting really shines through after Peng Kun's death scene.
@@lindalee8793 I agree. When he killed Ling as well. Those were heavy scenes he did really well. She missed out when she just did a first impression review on LLTG. He actually has a whole lot of range. He can do rage scenes as well as those tender moments to the heartbreaking ones with believable emotional impact.
Ling Buyi doesn't show as much range initially because his character is scripted to be that way. The difference between a fantastic actor and a subpar one is if that actor has the ability to express a wide range of emotions when the script requires it. Without a doubt, Wu Lei is a very versatile actor. He can do anything from being cold and distant to being chilling and downright intimidating, sad and pitiful, soft and sweet, funny and happy, awkward, and even almost psychotic and unhinged. He does it all convincingly. Even when he's just being cool and distant, his eyes are still so expressive. He really knows how to use his eyes in his acting. And I love how detailed he is...little things like the twitching of different facial muscles when he's angry or the veins popping on his temples when he's in pain. He's soo impressive to me. I'm always moved emotionally in some way or other when he's onscreen.

費導演說露絲是上天嘗飯的人…。拿吳磊就是刻苦努力成功的人！好戲一部接一部
我覺得吳磊是兩者兼具，不是每個長得可愛的孩子都能當童星演戲的，3歲拍廣吿5歲就拍戲，若沒有天份早被取代了！反而是趙露思的天份好像只在哭戲與可愛甜美的角色中發揮，其他的部份就不覺得演得好了，像程少商被阿母打軍棍，即使再倔強的脾氣不願意求饒也應該會有痛苦硬要忍耐的表演，因為身體是有痛覺有神經的，連凌不疑這樣身經百戰的將軍被打都有痛感，而身為身子嬴弱的小女孩卻連痛苦嗚咽的反應都沒有，實在是很有違和感⋯⋯後期成長後的程少商與且試天下的白鳳汐也是趙露思目前還沒有辦法演出像她扮演的傻白甜一樣自然讓人覺得這就真的是跟角色貼合，但我期待她未來能跟趙麗穎一樣演啥像啥
