At one point, we see a little bear named Morris at his Taming Party -- the collars are required to join society, so receiving one is a rite of passage. He starts playing with balloons, he's happy, he's excited, he's - ZAP! … he's scared. He has to learn to limit himself, to slow himself down, to always, always control himself, or he'll get zapped again. It's... heartbreaking, to be honest.
I found vids detailing the deleted scene. Now with time to think about it, the sequal could be about Predator Rights, and how they had to earn the right to remove shock collars. Could also squeeze in a moment where Judy is named after a famous pred in the protest.
nick and judy have this chemistry that not just some regular couple can have. their chemistry is so beautiful and romantic. it’s not fake and shallow. i just love them so much.

Dealing with night terrors myself, I felt this entire comic--I used to have them, plus hallucinations about them when I woke up. I don't think I've ever told anyone about them when they happen, though--they're hard enough thinking about them.
