Even if we by your logic couldn’t fit more than ONE mars into Earth, the Earth’s volume is in fact 6.64 times larger than that of Mars. Furthermore, if bringing several planetary sized objects together rather than animated models, we would indeed end up with a larger sphere without any gaps since the objects’ combined gravity would squeeze them together and close all the gaps between them.
