I always wanted a E30 wagon. But they were never imported to the US. You have to get them via Canada. I've had 325e, 325i, 325iX, and two Cabrios, amongst other 5 and 7 series models of the 80s and 90s. Very well engineered cars.
E30 is a car 10 years from now BMW will look for as inspiration in their designs. Such an awesome car. Im glad i have owned 2. Currently rebuilding a 91 318is as a commuter car.

To me, real cars ceased to exist after the E30. Real cars to me are C Kadett, 1502-2002, 3.0 CSL, Manta A, NSU TT, Commodore GS/E, E21 etc. up to the E30.

So lets recap "German Style" E30; Big rims and reduced ground clearance ... that's it? Not very imaginative, these cars could be from any country in the world. Don't get me wrong, speaking as a Swede driving a american car (Corvette) i still say germans build the best cars in the world ... period!
