  • If you are moving to NZ for work or permanently it is useful to understand how NZ salaries compare to elsewhere around the world. Of course, NZ wages vary by industry and job type. However, the median income in New Zealand is just under NZ$27 per hour as of mid-2021 (NZD$56,160 per annum based on a 40-hour week). NZ also has a legal minimum wage to protect workers.
    Generally speaking, the average salary in NZ lower than that of the UK and US (in 2012 the average salary for those working in New Zealand, based on the Purchasing Power Parity scale was $2,283, compared to $3,263 for the US and $3,065 for the UK), but being an average, some sectors do offer comparable salary rates.

    Hi, all f your videos are very informative, thanks for sharing them with us. By the way, could you please give me an idea, as a business student which Master's course would be a better choice, Business Analytics, Agribusiness or Project Management?

    • @ragamuffinshiv
      @ragamuffinshiv  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd say business analytics has a good future if you gain the right skills , project management can be added in the CV through prince 2 or PMP . I would go for BA to be honest but that's my subjective view , you have around 8 courses in the masters , choose your courses wisely and get a balanced degree with good job opps . you might want to research a more into the careers website

    Hiii big brother how are you i hope you are doing well i watch your all videos and basically i from bihar india and now i am working in dubai last 2.6 years as an Electrical Engineer and i have Bachelor of Electrical Engineering in 2018 and i have last 5.8 years hand experience. I was planning last from two years for go to new Zealand but i have families and financially problems that's why i couldn't do. Now i am thinking for will come there so i want to know that .how much opportunities of Electrical Engineering fields and how much expense will come for 3 months including all things like rent and transport tickets and ILETS is required or not . And medium level English will go or not.and what's documents required for visiting visa .
    And my most important question that can i get the job from dubai . Through applying online or how much ratio of it.
    I am really sorry for it i know that it's very lon comments but i watched more videos but i did not get all things.
    Thank you so much
    Aaditya.

      Electrical engineering is scope here check this fir details
      www.careers.govt.nz/searchresults?tab=jobs&q=Electrical+engineering
      Finding jobs from oversees is easy just go on seek.co.nz and search for jobs also use the key words for accredit employers to see who is happy to hire from oversees for your visa sponsorship .
      Electrical engineering is in greenlist so there is shortage .
      For coming here and staying I’d say use my monthly expense video as a guide over all too and fro trip and 3 month stay you would be looking at spending over 10 k nzd easily . All expenses depends on your lifestyle , if your English is not good you’ll struggle here , proficiency is required you can prove through ielts or education etc

    Hi bro. I'm glad I found you. Is it possible to land up a job in IT with 6 year experience and 12th pass? Is graduation a must? Also can you get the job while on a 6 month tourist visa?

    • @ragamuffinshiv
      @ragamuffinshiv  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Glad you liked it , it’s almost impossible to get something without a grad degree for immigrants - choosing nz for a grad program is very expensive so may be go through NZMA and do some sort of grad program in India which can be converted into nz .
      Second ,you can’t really work on a tourist visa sometimes you can study for 3 months while you are here but the short answer is no you cant be employed on tourist visa if you are looking to convert that into residency .
      They have some working holiday schemes but don’t think India is a part of it yet , but wouldn’t hurt to look into it on INZ website.
      Hope this helps ,
      A

      @@ragamuffinshiv Thanks for getting back. I appreciate it. Are there any courses that a college dropout with a cumulative 12 years work experience can opt for other than degree or diploma?

    • @ragamuffinshiv
      @ragamuffinshiv  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Would be hard one , may be look into transfer of course credits you completed and take some here ?
      All this can be looked on Nzma website .
      Or you can convince someone for a job offer who is a accredited employer here in the field of IT .
      If you are skilled you can find a job in IT pretty easy but graduation has points in case of residency so that’s where you might get stuck . I’d say go for looking for a work visa based on your skill through a accredited employer to start - this might test your luck 🤞
