Scorcher too. Even though the 2nd single (Shakermaker) had only just come out, everyone around us was shouting out for B sides like Take Me Away and Spaceman. They played neither! One bit they cut out of the broadcast (originally on Channel 4) was Noel early in the set teasing the intro from Cigarettes And Alcohol then stopping after a few seconds! They played it in full later in the set, but even in those early days pre-release it was a fan favourite and the riff was becoming ‘iconic’ as they say. Great to see it again.

I was a zine critic for extra bits of money as a teenager and they gave me free tickets to shows to write up reviews, but in the early 90s performances were really cheap anyway. Undoubtedly it was a superb time to be young and a lover of music.

Liam was a good vocalist/ dramatic frontman for a short period. He was/is more attractive but Even then, Noel wrote the lyrics and songs. Oasis could've sounded like oasis without Liam but not without Noel.

The 1990s was the last really cool decade for British music. There were so many great bands around in the 1990s in Britain..My favourite 90s band was the Manic Street Preachers but Oasis came a close second.
For all those present it was the presentation of the band that was going to lead British music in the 90s, and listening to an anthem that already left everyone who heard a hit for the first time frozen.
I was born in 92 when they first started Ict/I.t classes in England. They showed everyone search engines like Yahoo and google And made Everyone google wonder wall, It was at this point I realised , holy shit I know this song ! It come out when I was 2 ! And grew up with it on the radio

The 1990s was the last really cool decade for British music. There were so many great bands around in the 1990s in Britain..My favourite 90s band was the Manic Street Preachers but Oasis came a close second.
