Wonderful explanation.God sees the purity and sincerity of our sentiments, not the external acts of worship. The depth of our love and devotion is what touches His heart. God reciprocates according to the love and sincerity we offer. Whether we worship Him through a stone idol, a piece of paper, prayers, meditation, service, or remembrance, what truly matters is the devotion behind the act. When our heart is filled with love, humility, and surrender, we can draw closer to God.

Wow, what a powerful message from Swamiji on deity worship and its significance in our beliefs. It’s not just about the act of worship but the deep sentiments we hold within ourselves toward the Deity. Thank you so much Swamiji, for your wisdom and for always guiding us on our spiritual journey. ❤️🙏🏼

So blissful and enlightening to listen to 🙏Swamiji’s lecture on the importance of connecting and worshiping God in deity form! Worshiping God in a deity form helps a devotee to develop a strong sentimental connection with the Supreme God through Sadhana. Even more important in sadhana is the connection of God we form and attach in our heart and mind of God through Roopdhyan. Thank you Swamiji!

Swamiji, This Spirtual secrets from Hinduism series helped me to understand so many minute things regarding bhakti. Today, I learned about the importance of diety worship. The wisdom you shared especially when you told that just like astronauts before being sent into space practice in zero gravity environments, likewise, we will serve God in-person after going to his divine abodes, In the interim, we get to simulate the seva with the deity.
Swamiji, I'm understanding how blessed Im to have you as my Guru to receive this kind of divine knowledge which is helping me to purify the mind. ❤❤❤

The whole idea behind idol worship is after doing bhakti, at some point, we will be able to draw the image of God in our minds and then feel the connect. All our emotions and bhaav are all associated with the "chhavi" of Lord created by us in our hearts. Its very much needed to progress spiritually. Thank you for explaining Swamiji. At times, I get connect with most enchanting dieties like RadhaKrishna from Dallas and Tirupati Balaji. Even RadhaKrishna diety from JKU ashram is marvellous. But in real, I have no sentiments for dieties. I believe that God is present in my heart. I feel His presence around me. Just seeing God at one place, I don't like the idea. But one touching point from Swamiji, if God is present everywhere. He is present in diety too. I'm trying to invoke those sentiments and trying to serve Him with utmost sentiments. Yet my Lord always who reside in my heart and mind is more attracting to me, visit to them gives me peace and fills my heart with bliss. And Swamiji is saying that sentiment is powerful and the highest. Thanks alot Swamiji for this wonderful video. I was in tears when I heard story of Kheer Chor Gopinath. My Krishna is completely gives His everything for the selfless devotion.

Deity worship, to me, is a powerful way of connecting with the divine and practicing my devotion towards my Ishta-dev. We all know God is all-pervasive and He is sitting in our heart. But that realization cannot satisfy us. We wish to see Him, to press His lotus feet, to offer Him garland and to feed Him. All this becomes possible through the deity. With a devotion-imbued heart, when we engage in the service of the deity, the Lord accepts and reciprocates.🙏🙏🙏

That is a true fact that God is present everywhere, and also in the deity.. It is always the purity of our sentiments/bhav with which we worship the Lord is noted by Him, not the physical form we choose to worship..

Very good message by swamiji. Every action done with the aim for God's pleasure is counted. God doesn't see the external action. He notes what is the intention, emotions, internal thoughts towards him. He is omnipresent. So in Murti puja with deep faith that God is present in it can lead us to closer to God ❤❤

Swamiji explained the purpose and importance of deity worship beautifully. By worshipping deity, we can connect with God and offer him our devotion. We can feed him, bath him, touch his feet and take blessings, and decorate him with beautiful clothes and garlands. As long as our sentiments are genuine, God will accept whatever we offer him and reciprocate accordingly.

This wonderful video helps us to understand how to develop our faith and loving sentiments towards our beloved God through it's deity. It is a well-known fact that God is present in the hearts of all individuals and in all places, but we are drawn to serve Him through our various direct sevas, such as bathing, offering food, and pressing his feet. In order to preserve this connection, we must maintain a deity for daily worship. However, it is important to remember that this is not the highest form of worship, as Swamiji stated. Rather, the deity that we install in our minds is of greater significance. Nevertheless, the stories of Swami Vivekananda and Saint Madhvendra Puri are truly inspiring and motivating in terms of cultivating divine sentiments with our beloved God.
Kindly accept my heartfelt gratitude to your lotus feet, Swamiji for your wonderful guidance and blessings through this wonderful series of Spiritual Secrets from Hinduism.

    # Swami Mukundananda had picked up such wonderful examples from the the lives of the great saints to explain the significance of the deity worship. As He explains One can feel the intense concern and compassion towards the devotees to understand and start implementing. Let us all look for the Roop dhyaan meditation by Swamiji in the TH-cam and relish that as well.
