Yes. I have been there and it is amazing. Ended up feeling dizzy from just whipping my eyes around so much. It is intimidating if you can not speak Korean. Most vendors did speak English and I probably didn’t get a good deal but the experience was so incredible. Thanks for sharing this market
🙋🏻♀️I’ve made paper stars (and still do if/when I find the time). My hubs thrives on bargaining. He did it at a Hong Kong night market long ago. He isn’t Asian and doesn’t know any Cantonese but mainly bargained using a calculator, gestures/body language and knowing when to walk away. Like you, I have similar barriers and I grew up embarrassed when my parents (and now hubs) did it
A lot good stuff to buy and the quality seems good even if you buy it in bulk at an affordable price. I wish there were something similar here. Thanks for this video.
thx for the video but it might have been a bit more helpful to explain how bargaining works in these stores. like if they offer a certain price for something you come back with a counter offer of half what they said. something like that would have been good. so people who arent familiar dont insult the shop owners with too low of offer
