In today's video I will be sharing my review of the new Jean Paul Gaultier La Belle Le Parfum and comparing it to the Original La Belle. Hope you enjoy this video!

I haven’t smelled the mew one but I love the original!! I’m pretty sure I would prefer the original as I love the bright juiciness of it!! We don’t usually get above 95 and that’s only maybe a couple days in the year!!!
Oh yes, then definitely the original is perfect for you! If I lived in cooler weather I would definitely choose the original as my favorite. 🥰
I love the original so much, it's in my top 3, but still want to get my nose on this one. I think I'm gonna order a decant first (I ordered a decant first of the OG and was repulsed the first time I smelled it lol then came back to it a few weeks later when it was cooler out and it was magically delicious lol) Definitely definitely give it a try again when you move to a cooler climate 😊

Did you get your nose on the Le Parfum? Is the OG possible to wear during warmer months?
All I got was vetiver the first two times I tried the original as well. I was binge watching your videos and came across this one again, and you convinced me to try the original one more time since it’s been sitting for awhile. Plus my nose is slowly getting better at detecting notes. I was surprised that I actually got less vetiver this time around and I finally get a little bit of the sweetness everyone raves about! I think I’m starting to like it!
Maybe this fall you will end up loving it! 🥰😆
I like the le parfume the best, but its not for hot weather. I have both, and love both

Hello! I live in Puerto Rico and I have the Le Parfum version and honestly it is my christmas season night scent ✨ it isn’t cloing on me or anyone else. I also find the vanilla really similar to the Kayali one
I just ordered the original one! So listening to you I hope I didn’t get the wrong one. I might add Solinotes Tonka to it. Thank you for sharing! 🌸

i love love love the original La Belle..
so i was in a sense underwhelmed by the le parfum coz of how similar they are..
but in a way, it is s TRUE INTENSE version of the original..
i guess i was bummed because i know it would be redundant to buy the Le parfum since i still have the La Belle Original...
but now that i am almost out of the OG, i am more excited to try Le Parfum...
will test again this fall and winter :)

Girl I said the same thing. I don't know where people are getting more intense from. I love the OG. I really like the le parfum but it could've been better in my opinion.
Yea I don’t think it’s more intense than the original one bit. This could’ve been a flanker for people like me who wanted a bit less Vetiver but for an intense version, it could’ve been darker more mysterious idk 🤷🏻♀️ I think I’ll love the le parfum here though since it is a little smoother and not so smoky.

I went to Macy’s to test both. I think the bottle of the OG was gone off. To be honest I get that sour smell from every fragrance that I test at Macy’s. But I went outside and the sillage of the intense kept hitting me in the face. So for me, that’s the one I like more. I wish I smelled more of the pear and sweetness in the OG but I only get Vetiver.
A lot of ladies have been saying that the intense version is better, so I'm not surprised you agree! I tried a sample of the original, it was ok, but didn't convince me to buy a bottle. I'll try this one as well.
Yeah , when I tried the original i tried so much to like it, but i didn’t. Then this came out and to me, it doesn’t match the original at all, this is more creamy and more delicious. U have to try it and let me know🧡

I personally still do not understand the hype around La Belle. I still own a small bottle. It is too sweet for me. To me it is not that elegant.. Anyway I am curious to smell the parfum. And interestingly I can’t smell the vetiver.
I wish I didn’t pick up on the Vetiver as much 😩 it makes it pull masculine on my skin.. I wish I got more sweetness since I love sweet scents. ☺️
I bought them both at the same time from fragrancebuy. The intense smells strange to me but I like it. I like them both but definitely still getting use to them. Only bought them a month ago so it’s really not the season for them where I live.
Its still difficult to get the intense. I tried them both yesterday. I need to skn test again. So far so good I want both of them. 😂
I feel you! La Belle is so, so intense. I love sweet but this one is a pass. The le Parfum i Will wear in the wintertime, maybee :)
I absolutely love the original La Belle so I know I'll love the intense...😍😍😍 Scandal by night is also a L❤ve for me!! Its funny that fall is also my favorite time of year iv always wondered if there's a perfume that smells along the lines of pumpkin spice because sometimes they come out with bath and body spray but its just ok PLEASE let me know Thanks...💕

Try Tobacco Vanille from Tom Ford. It smells like a spiced chai latte to me.
I smelt the la belle le parfum a few weeks ago and i really like it , the pear for me is the star note and it,s so lovely i have,t smelt the la belle edp ,i,ll definately purchase this along with some others m micallef,s glamour being one i need to try ,
Hi Amy!!! I used La Belle (original) thru out Christmas 2020, our fall weather 🤣🤣🤣here in PR and I loved it!!! I think I will love the Le Parfum version as well because I loooooove tonka bean. But maybe I should get the smaller one as well!!!

I did not like the original it pulled very masculine on me. Probably the vetiver, I also live in a very hot climate. I might try the Intense because I do like tonka bean
Yup same thing happened to me. It was very masculine, spicy Vetiver. I have tested it out a few more times and some days I did pick up some sweetness so
I could tell it would be beautiful in cooler weather.

Which one smells more feminine, the least unisex ? I hate fragrances that lean masculine.
I would say they are both pretty feminine but if you pick up
Too much of the Vetiver in the original it could pull masculine. La belle le parfum is smoother and doesn’t have as much Vetiver.

I have not pick up la belle, but i don’t want to get rid of it either hahah! I only wear it once, i will try again and see if the vetiver is not that strong.. if i still don’t’ love it might try this one!😝☺️

Would love if you compared the Original La Belle to Jessica Simpson's Fancy. I smelled them both today (La Belle about 30mins before) and when I smelled Fancy, I kept trying to think what it reminded me of - it was La Belle! I didn't go back to the other place and smell La Belle again, though. I know you loved Fancy and sold La Belle, so now I'm like... hmmmmmm...
I don’t think they are similar to my nose. To me La belle reminds me of a pear pie with a crust 😆😂 and Jessica Simpson fancy used to be super gourmand for me and almondy caramel and now I get more
Gardenia so I decluttered that one 🥺
@@AmyGlam Ugh! I totally can see that. I can't decide on whether I like Fancy or not. Even though some of the celebrity fragrance's smell nice, the difference in quality is really apparent after only a couple months into my new fragrance hobby. It's like (no matter what) they smell cheaper and not as complex now. Wish I hadn't have spoiled myself so early in the game, haha.

I got a lot of Vetiver in the OG La Belle too. I definitely think it needed to sit.
I’ll be giving it another try towards the end of the year, because that Vetiver was super smoky and almost masculine since it’s so hot here. 🥺

Hey Amy I realize this is an old vid but you stated that you pack your collection in your luggage? I’m a mil spouse with a collection as well and was wondering if you could make like a moving or pcs vid of how you transported your perfume collection or even just a response will suffice 😅
I bought the EDP and the only thing that I smell is red berries and leather. I am not sure if the leather is something that would work for me. I associate the leather with cologne. I am not sure. It leans bit mature and masculine for me, but I would need to wear it more to be certain. I don't smell any vetiver in it though.
I wonder if I would like the Le Parfum better. I don't know how tonka smells though.
The other day I got a sample from JoMalone Tonka and Myrrh, and it made me nauseaus haha.

I'm shopping around for some new fall perfumes to add to my collection. I think I'd go for the le parfum..how sweet would you say it is from a scale of 1-5?
I think it’s pretty sweet like a 4/5 but I think they definitely kept Vetiver in this one as well so it also has spice.
hey gorg, i have the og and it’s kinda boring to me.... i don’t even get a juicy pear from it, maybe i’m cray cray. do u find the intense deeper? i need some depth. i heard the intense has a cinnamon vibe too, do you get that?
Hi! I don’t know if I would say deeper. 🤔 in a sense I guess it can be considered deeper. I found it to be smoother than the original and a little creamier. A lot less spicy than the original as well. There is this cherry and floral note that makes me like it and yesterday I tested it on my hand again and got a little of that hazelnut. I would definitely say to get your hands on a sample since it’s still similar to the original, just in case you don’t like it.
I’ll be keeping mine but only for fall season because I can’t really picture myself wearing it right now. I get fall vibes for sure. ☺️🥰
