Tonight moonbin passed away and this is the song I came to listen. I was too young when Jonghyun passed away and had just discovered the kpop world. But today , I understand it all. RIP angels.

What happened last night reminded me of 5 years ago, and i needed to come here because i was reminded of what this songs means to everyone who has a hard time
I'm here for the same reason i was also too young when jonghyun passed away but with moonbin passing away it came as a huge shock to me because i literally just saw a video of him (when eunwoo goes to their concert Secretly to support him and sanha) right after i went to sleep last night and when i wake up this morning and learned the news i really can't believe it. It really proves that we don't know what's behind someones smile and what they're going through.

I correct you, Jonghyun wrote this song for EXO to sing but giving that it was not thematic of them let it pass, then Lee Hi listened to the demo and wanted to sing the song and Jonghyun for being very close friends allowed it. If you want to find out

I understand why she stopped singing. Jonghyun wrote this comfort song and gave it to Lee Hi, her friend, bc he thinks her voice suits the song. Now, imagine singing that song for that friend who is now deceased thinking that the lyrics he wrote himself were the words he wanted to hear as he was fighting his depression. She's so strong and I admire her for that.

Im not a fan of jonghyun and lee hi, but i can feel their friendship, lee hi is the one who always got depression, and her family and friends didnt even know about that, and shinee especially jonghyun always cheer her up and write this song for her. Eventhough he has the same depression as lee hi, he never show that to anyone, he just smile like nothing happened, and when he had already got on his limit, he commited suicide, and now the world just know about his depression, it is so sad for lee hi to sing this song in front of a lot of audience when she think about jonghyun but she still has to finish this song and said 'im okay, i can do this' but in the end she still cannot hold her tear
Jonghyun was open about his depression though, actually he was very vocal about it. Alot of his songs speak about it, and he used to talk about on his radio show Blue Night. Jonghyun also wrote a beautiful book called, "Skeleton Flower: Things that have been released and set free" and it touches upon the topic too. Jonghyun even had a black dog tattoo in reference to his battle with depression. In his case, he was vocal about his struggles but he was also so encouraging to everyone around him and his fans and always gave advice and supportive words for those struggling and wrote songs giving strength to people like this one, so people I suppose maybe thought it wasn't that bad or that Jonghyun was managing it well. All Jonghyun fans knew about it, we did everything we could to show our love and support, it was more of a case where there was nothing more we could do since in the end we are just fans or from a distance... Jonghyun always spoke about dealing with it, and helping us deal with it, that it shocked us to our core to hear that his own advice that saved us, could not save himself.

do you remember when hayi was in music shows and she was so uncomfortable but nobody tried to be her friend? Or when she won the awards, other artists acted so disrespectful with her? Well, shinee ALWAYS was with her, cheering her performances and achievements. And jonghyun always supported her, even when she was that shy and didn't understand why he was interested in her.
Maybe they weren't bestfriends but in their bad moments they were together and this linked them in a very beautiful and strong way.
Both are my fav soloists and two of my favourite people ever, I'm so so sorry. I miss him so much💔

iam actually convince that Jonghyun liked hayi. 10.29 이태원 참사로 가장 소중한 친구를 잃었어요 너무너무 아름답고 찬란히 빛날 줄 알았던 친구였고 소식 듣고 놀라 바로 장례식장 가보니 하늘이 무너지는줄 알았어요 정말 난 그 아이 울타리 안에 있던 작은 존재였구나 너가 떠나고 난 아무것도 아니구나 그러면서 주저 앉았는데 하염없이 허공만 바라보시는 넋이 나가신듯한 엄마 아빠 모습을 보니 내가 차마 눈물을 흘릴 수가 없더라 감히 내가 거기서 힘들어 할 수가 없어서 조용히 너 마지막 길 함께 하고 집에서 혼자 엄청 울었어
지금도 솔직히 너무 힘들어 봄바람이 불어도 꽃이 피고 지는 순간에도 비가 와도 너무 힘들다 마음이 시리게 아픈데 그래도 나 부모님 걱정 되서 주말마다 꼭 너희집에 가는데 나 잘 하고 있는거 맞겠지
