Because it isn't. It's another architecture. It's an F-Pace with a range rover body.
And if anything, in terms of design, it's closest to the FF Range Rover.

Well Evoques and Sports are completely different so it can't be a larger version of one and a smaller version of the other at the same time can it.

Introducing new technology, adding numerous modules, more wires and connections. All that complications added to make it look and feel better has made these cars so complex to repair. I love my BMW to bits but also hate it for the very reason.

How many touches of that clever on screen system does it take to get to the seat heaters control? Any more than one (a seat heater switch) and you're taking the drivers' concentration away from the road too long. It's all very nice to de-clutter the cab but if it causes an accident due to the driver having to look at the centre screen too long then it a detrimental step.

That's the conception of Softwares. At first, they do not care about graphical lags. At the end, they "polish" everything to make it go smoother.

@@uxblueprint we have one and it's not that bad. Obviously it's gonna lag. They don't use graphics cards and do have dedicated graphics drivers and the cpu used is not to powerful
@@smooth9019 thats not right. A proper MCU like a Cortex M7 by STM32 has a graphics accelerator. If they wouldnt care about the 2-3 Euros they could use a SoC like a NVidia Tegra with an integrated gpu and much more power or something much cheaper. But instead we get infotainment systems in our cars that arent up to date.
We pay a lot for a car like the velar and dont even get the perfomance of a low budget android phone. WTF is going wrong in the car industry?!?
