Try turning Beckham around and let him slide down on his bum. He may even hold onto the rail as he goes down. He might feel even more safe seeing where he is going. He loved pushing the toy down the stairs more than the screaming I think. I bet he would like it better if you screamed if you feel the need to at the very end once the goal is accomplished because he has to think, process, and concentrate so hard to make everything work together to achieve what he wants. I know how hard it is I have CP and I live with and I will continue to just like Beckham, which in this case was his favorite toy or Chloe or both. Keep trying Beckham!
I have CP. I also sat on my bum when I learned to get down the stairs, I still do it if i have something in my hands that i want to bring down

Rachel I know you are proud of Beckham and you all should be. I am also very proud of him as I know how hard everything he does is, I have CP myself. I have been watching your videos for quite some time now. I know you want to cheer him on, but I also know that you have mentioned you don't to over stimulate or yourself, the screaming is a bit over done and it could stale Mr. Beckham! Honestly, it looked like Beckham's goal was to shove his toy down the steps and hear it fall. Beckham is a ROCKSTAR without screaming.
Can't wait to see the new vlog and hope you guys have a great Wednesday afternoon and evening with the kids and can't wait to see Beckham climbing the stairs and keep up with the great work bubba and you got this.

Hahaha The best security system I have ever come across was a goose. Everyone was afraid of it including the people who lived in the house, family, friends, neighbors, the other pets and myself. It would run toward me and make this noise when I would get out of my car and I just knew what I was in for. The goose was so scary one of the children who lived there asked their parents to just get rid of the goose for their ninth birthday and they did. Get a goose for the yard and not even the mailman will come to the door to deliver the mail anymore.
This made me cackle💀😂
Lol that is funny! One day I ordered Doordash & I got a call from the guy outside my house & he wouldn't get out of his car because my cat was out there. I said 'excuse me'? He said 'there's a cat'. Lol so I had to go out & get the cat. Now I admit my cats are big but cmon now. 😂

just a question have you ever considered a Communication devise for Beckham or taking him swimming in order to help with the Tightness in his legs
Swimming in warm water often helps with spasticity
I have asked about a Communication device multiple times and no response. Maybe if we all keep asking he will get one. They could even try using the iPad with him since he uses that for vision therapy. He deserves to and he needs to be able to communicate just like everyone else!

I've often thought about it too. I'm sure he can figure out how to use it. He needs to be able to communicate with People other than those closest to him.
@@lauramagnussonandresen3037 They can also teach him at school he is smart enough. They can also adapt it at school if he needs it adapted. I feel so bad for him at times, because needs and deserves to be able to communicate his wants and needs. He can talk a little verbally, but if they would let the therapist really work with him they could even make a cheap communication board for him instead of just saying it's hard sometimes understand what Beckham wants or needs. They (the parents) need to realize and accept if it's hard and frustrating for them, imagine how hard and frustrating it is for Beckham.

I am so looking forward to Beckham for his wheelchair ❤ who Pays for aids? I live in denmark and we have a good healthcare system, so I think it is very interesting to hear how it is in the USA❤❤
It depends on what type of insurance they have with regards to who pays for equipment in the US.

@@lauramagnussonandresen3037 At times yes, but not typically when it comes to children. Hunter is also self employed. His parents also have to realize and accept that he needs what he needs. I have seen kids with CP and other disabilities in their own wheelchair younger than Beckham.
I have also seen children younger than Beckham in wheelchairs. We have a different system in Denmark, if I need a new wheelchair I go online, fill out an application form, a few months go by and then i have a new wheelchair and we don't pay anything, sometimes they have to have a medical certificate. Thank you for explaining what you do. Once in a while you will gets a no, but we have it easy compares to you.
I enjoy watching Beckhams progress. I must ask, on the stairs why aren't you trying to use stairs to dissociation of his legs by having him put one knee on one step then the other knee up to next step. His legs are always so addicted. This is not good for his hips. Just saying.
I think your all about cute, the super important makeup routine, mess free lifestyle. Sad as.

Stop with the screaming, you are so loud ,you need to spend more time with your children they are past the toddler and nap stage ,A little more time for them and less time in front of a camera.
Her videos are like a half hour long. What are you talking about? There are 24 hours in a day & Beckham probably still needs his naps being he has CP & it takes a lot out of him. Blakely does quiet time, shes outgrowing her naps. Be positive, Rachel is doing a great job & is lucky to be a work from home mom.
