Thank you for this very informative interview. Now I understand why my ketones don't go up significantly with intermittent fasting and ketogenic diet alone. Age and gender are factors. Being a 76 year old male and fairly muscular, I know that prolonged fasting has to become part of my lifestyle as well as the keto diet and IF. I have to fast at least a couple days before my ketones go over 2.0.They have gone as high 2.9 when doing longer fasts but drop below 1.0 a couple days after the fast. I'm hoping that as I continue doing longer fasts, that my ketones will stay elevated for longer periods when not fasting. At least I feel I'm heading in the right direction.

I have non-small cell lung cancer. Is there a list of the ketogenite diet that we can refer to if its complete? Or, where we can use to create our ketogenic diet each day? Also, what else do we need to take and do?
Research the Ketogenic diet and practice intermittent fasting. Get fat adapted and build in prolonged water fasting. Learn about inhibition of glutamine uptake and explore available drugs. Learn about press-pulse
