Fairy tail will forever hold a really special place in my heart because it was the one of the first anime I’ve ever watched and I just fell in love with it every episode! It also has some of the best openings in anime history!🔥
Fairy Tail has been bashed and hated because of its use of Magic of Friendship and whatnot. But don't let that distract you to the good side of this show. Whilst it may have flaws (everything does), it has one of the best buildups (especially with one arc) I've ever seen. Also the use of its characters. You might realize that Fairy Tail has A LOT of characters in the openings. The show with 300+ episodes doesn't only focus on our main characters, but it also gives even the side and supporting characters we never noticed some backstory. The blue cat even has his own arc! Or, well, he has a focus on a portion of one arc.
Yeah definitely has a LOT of bad but it sure has lots of good moments too like like lots of shows in the end ^^ Although i don't agree with what you say abnout characters lmao pretty muc 75% of the background characters are really underused

Funny enough. Nastu is not the “main” character. It’s actually Lucy(the blonde girl) but Natsu gets a lot of screen time in the openings so people usually think he’s the main character.
i thought it was both of them. like, lucy is the character who goes in relatively normal, easy to understand, has a convinient character quirk for exposition dumping and we follow her as we get attached to the characters around her, as well as her, and learn more about them, then she starts feeling attached to natsu, then natsu becomes the main character of the story she is observing... coz love can be weird? i probably explained it weird...
I got to admit it Fairy tail OPs are all BANGER! (especially op 15), from my experience almost all the good anime has good OPs like Naruto, One piece, Bleach, JJK, Katekyo Hitman, D-gray man, Haikyuu, Guren laggan, Re zero and many more. And that's what made me started watch it all of the 328 and even the OVAs and Movies and I don't regret it at all, it's hella fun and enjoyable (and sad). Ofc the power of friendship had a big role in the story because the main theme of fairy tail itself is FRIENDSHIP so i didn't expect far from it. But when i watched it i didn't really care much about it tho. It's not the best but it's pretty enjoyable worth to give it a try.
I know of an anime called DN Angel. Its opening is really good and its an older anime, same with Yu Yu Hakusho, but both hold a special place in my heart as they were my first animes

Fairy Tail's a great anime despite its negative feedbacks. I assure you the quality gets higher as the episodes goes on, it's because they did change their studio midway. It's an anime with supernatural abilities involved so it's really fun to get to know their unique powers plus the anime is not only focusing on Natsu (red haired dude) it's actually really focused on the guild, thus the name Fairy Tail since it's the name of their guild. I hope you start watching this bc I will really be down for that!

The animation studios actually changed in OP 14, not with the ZERO opening (which is a slight spin-off to when the guild, Fairy Tail, is actually created).
It started with fairies, it ended with fairies, that's what I love how they wrapped all of the arcs together showing that that was the last opening. I've watched all of Fairy Tail and it is really good, and I think from a viewers stand point who hasn't watched this it would be pretty confusing. I love fairy tail, I started to watch it in 2018, It has been one of my favourite anime. The only anime that beat it to me was Naruto. That was the only anime that I have watched that beat Fairy Tail. Still love it to this day 👆👆👆
@Mr. Empty yeah not lying there, Fairy Tail does have a brilliant soundtrack which I still love listening to, I do love Naruto’s soundtrack too as it’s more my taste in music, however I really do like the upbeat music that fairy tail has especially in most of their songs the beat drops and then the drums start playing, which is another reason why I really love the soundtrack. It gives the openings suspense.

While the story is told from Lucy's perspective, natsu could be perceived as the main character cuz he's the hero who solves all the problems. the animation did change in opening 15 after a whole break it had since the studio did change. and if you noticed by opening 19-21 the colors of the animation got darker, and goes a lot by that arc.

If you ever watch this, remember that there is NO SINGLE PROTAGONIST! This is what makes the show so unique! The whole guild and their friends are the protagonists and you're along for the ride as they journey through their lives. It's all about friendship, family and the bonds we share. ^_^

They are wizards. They use different types of magic. Fairy Tail is the wizard guild the main characters belong to. "Strike Back" and "Believe in myself" are my favourites openings.
"Funkist" Who play the Op1 & 3, and they are really the band of this series in my opinion, and most of the fans litterally crying when the first Op played at the very last scene of final episode.
I'm so glad you really like 8 (Rock City Boy), 9 (Towa no Kizuna), & 10 (I Wish), as those are some of my favorites as well, even though most focus on the later openings. Strike Back (16) is another. 12 (Tenohira), 14 (Fairy Tail ~Yakusoku no Hi~) and 18 (Break Out) are up there as well. 15 (Masayume Chasing) hits you in the feels when you know the context. 19-21 are all bangers that I love (21 especially is a favorite, especially since the VAs of the fire & ice bois sing it iirc). 22 (another favorite, Ashita Wo Narase) I should mention is the opening for Fairy Tail Zero (hence the Zero). I won't say what it's about, but you should still 100% watch it before the final few arcs (which start with opening 23). 23-26... I didn't like them at first, as they were such a change from the earlier openings, but they've grown on me quite a bit. Like it was weird to me how serious the scenes were, but how upbeat the songs were, as earlier in the show they generally used more hard-hitting music with serious stuff. So that was just a tone clash for me at first. But again, they've grown on me. I actually really like them now.

Probably, but without the motivation and ambition being obvious and clear the power without the motivation would just seem like violence with no reason which people will hate more. When you say the anime is shit have you actually watched more than the 1st season? Or have you watched the whole anime and still hate it?

The opening with the word "Zero" throughout is for a spinoff prequel called Fairy Tail: Zero.
It started with fairies, it ended with fairies, that's what I love how they wrapped all of the arcs together showing that that was the last opening. I've watched all of Fairy Tail and it is really good, and I think from a viewers stand point who hasn't watched this it would be pretty confusing. I love fairy tail, I started to watch it in 2018, It has been one of my favourite anime. The only anime that beat it to me was Naruto. That was the only anime that I have watched that beat Fairy Tail. Still love it to this day 👆👆👆
@Mr. Empty yeah not lying there, Fairy Tail does have a brilliant soundtrack which I still love listening to, I do love Naruto’s soundtrack too as it’s more my taste in music, however I really do like the upbeat music that fairy tail has especially in most of their songs the beat drops and then the drums start playing, which is another reason why I really love the soundtrack. It gives the openings suspense.

Fairy tail actually my first long anime I watched and I enjoyed it soo much I love the characters and ever new op is something else I still listening to them to this day tbh i even enjoyed filler episodes and then I watched naruto and i felt like im living a nightmare with all those filler episodes :) …….. the last season wasnt that good like the first and the second season

While the story is told from Lucy's perspective, natsu could be perceived as the main character cuz he's the hero who solves all the problems. So as I said before, you could say that they're both the main characters of the story in a sort of split sense.

the animation did change in opening 15 after a whole break it had since the studio did change. and if you noticed by opening 19-21 the colors of the animation got darker, and goes a lot by that arc.

Fairy Tail is basically a standard JRPG the anime type show. The bullman and clock are summons. Anyways, Fairy Tail is both the name of the show and the name of the wizard guild it stars.
If you ever watch this, remember that there is NO SINGLE PROTAGONIST! This is what makes the show so unique! The whole guild and their friends are the protagonists and you're along for the ride as they journey through their lives. It's all about friendship, family and the bonds we share. ^_^

"Funkist" Who play the Op1 & 3, and they are really the band of this series in my opinion, and most of the fans litterally crying when the first Op played at the very last scene of final episode.
I'm so glad you really like 8 (Rock City Boy), 9 (Towa no Kizuna), & 10 (I Wish), as those are some of my favorites as well, even though most focus on the later openings. Strike Back (16) is another. 12 (Tenohira), 14 (Fairy Tail ~Yakusoku no Hi~) and 18 (Break Out) are up there as well. 15 (Masayume Chasing) hits you in the feels when you know the context. 19-21 are all bangers that I love (21 especially is a favorite, especially since the VAs of the fire & ice bois sing it iirc).
22 (another favorite, Ashita Wo Narase) I should mention is the opening for Fairy Tail Zero (hence the Zero). I won't say what it's about, but you should still 100% watch it before the final few arcs (which start with opening 23).
23-26... I didn't like them at first, as they were such a change from the earlier openings, but they've grown on me quite a bit. Like it was weird to me how serious the scenes were, but how upbeat the songs were, as earlier in the show they generally used more hard-hitting music with serious stuff. So that was just a tone clash for me at first. But again, they've grown on me. I actually really like them now.
The grand magic games(aka tournament) was by far, my favorite arc.

Yes The Power of Friendship does get annoying but have you actually looked deeper or try and see it in another way? If you actually read and pay attention to the anime They have friends yes, but their friends are what give then the motivation, power, and Ambition to do a lot of stuff, if that didn't exist would they still be powerful? Absolutely, but would that power have actual meaning and motivation to it? Probably, but without the motivation and ambition being obvious and clear the power without the motivation would just seem like violence with no reason which people will hate more. When you say the anime is shit have you actually watched more than the 1st season? Or have you watched the whole anime and still hate it?

I like your thoughts about it but they are Wizards not fairies. Fairy Tail is the name of the guild. Wizard guilds have all names like Blue Pegasus and Lamia Scale but it has nothing to do with being it. If you know what i mean.
