Hi Sir, I have experienced 8 years of experience in non- tech job. So can i switch to selenium automation and if so what is the next step i have to take ? Please provide your suggestions 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hi Anil, Yes you can switch, you can go 2 ways either you can start with api automation using rest assured and learn manually test apis or you can go with ui automation using selenium and learn framework design and how to automate ui scenarios.
@@automatewithamit thank you so much sir for your quick response. If i have done the courses then in every interview they will ask real time experience which i do not have. For this confusion i am not able to take decisions sir. Could you please help what i need to do. Sir believe me as of now all are saying do courses but no one is giving path how to go about it. its my humble request if you can guide me the right path so that i will lead to the success 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
The limitations of Cypress are significant. The only thing we use Cypress for is early pipeline tests written by the web developers themselves, but those test are ALWAYS followed up by a suite of automated Selenium E2E tests. Both have a place in a modern web pipeline. Another point to make i that rarely is a product only available on web, there are native apps to test, sometimes even other devices like Apple TV, FireTV if you're in the media space. Cypress is a "one trick pony" that doesn't scale for multiplatform validations
I'm working in cypress for three years , and in this tenure i haven't seen the any problem to force me to move cypress to selenium? Can you explain why selenium is better the cypress or just because of you are using that's why selenium is best?

Selenium😍
Are they tools ?? or frameworks!!
They are Automation Frameworks 😊
Dude, your explanation is really good. But the background effect is really annoying.
Thanks Buddy for your feedback ! I will take that feedback for further improvements. I am happy to hear that Content was helpful 😇🙏
@@automatewithamit Any time bro. There is not much content related to QA on TH-cam. You deserve much more views. Keep creating. ❤
Use a dark background. Bright background gives headache
Thanks for feedback Brother! Will definitely try to smoothen the experience 😊
Selenium 💪
I think Selenium has its use case
correct ✅😊
I think ppl from India use Selenium but Cypress to me is easier to learn for beginners
cypress is best
Selenium is BEST for E2E multi browser testing
Background is distracting
Thank you for feedback 😊🙏 will improve on that❤️
Selenium is the best
