Fr, honestly to me My Dear Melancholy is Abel taking his OG mixtape vibes and doing something that resonated with him at the time, using his more significant connections and influence to take those original vibes of his and mix it with the new sound that he had evolved into since that time.
I'm a person with many tastes in music. I love all sorts of genres. With that said, The Weeknd has quickly shot up to one of my favorite artists ever. He is super talented and I just love his music.
I'm the same way. I grew up listening to lots of different genre's but Hip-Hop and R&B was always my #1 besides spanish music. I know a musical genius when I hear it. He's been my number artist for many years now and I'll die happy knowing I attended one of his concerts FINALLY! Cried my eyeballs out when he started the show with Alone Again. That song makes me weak in the knees and instantly starts to cry. No other artist has EVER made me feel what I feel inside when I listen to Abel's music and the healing journey that's happened to me over years bcus of it but that's another story another day. 🙏 XO

The Trilogy journey is too good and Kiss Land (2013) is the icing on the cake. Pure perfection every single piece of music Abel has put out. I watched Dawn FM 2x already and about to go for a 3rd viewing 😊😊
