My favorite part about this is that more of the video is Colin being jealous than it is Pen being jealous. As all things should be.
I feel like Colin is quite a bit more obvious than pen when it comes to jealousy I really don’t understand how lord Deblin didn’t feel a prickle behind his neck the intense looks colin was sending their way every time could have drilled a hole in their heads. The side eye he gave deblin when he interrupted their dance could have frozen the Sahara desert. Honestly this really does seem like a case of she fell first he fell harder.

I keep thinking, why didn’t Penelope tell Colin directly that Marina was pregnant? But maybe Penelope also knew that with Colin savior complex he would have married her anyway. So felt she had to go drastic.
Penelope was in her anti-hero era indeed. She could've talked to either mama Bridgerton or Anthony, or someone else if not Colin directly, but she knew Colin would still marry Marina. As Lady W, she knew she has the power to take down anyone. Then again, Pen is just what, a 16-17 year old teen in s1? It makes sense she did what she had to keep another girl getting in the way of her and her crush.
I do wish they'd show Pen's remorse for what damage she's done to other people by being Lady W in the second part of this season.

Queen was ready to unalive Eloise & make the Bridgerton's suffer, thinking she was Lady Whistledown. Yes, Pen did Eloise a favor by literally saving her life. That's why I love Pen's character. She's complex. I just feel like something's missing this season because I haven't seen the entire season yet. Can't wait for tomorrow. Netflix has got everyone addicted to binging 😭

P.S. To clarify, comparing to other seasons, it is my favorite so far. But as an avid polin fic reader, I have seen so much deliciously done jealous!Colin, and pining!Colin and pining!Penelope, so much so that its becomes Unhinged!Colin very quickly, lol. And the thing about all this decadent fanfiction is that you craving for drama and pining and yearning becomes so high, the canon rarely is able to satisfy it.
I think it’s the best one.

Currently, Im obsessed with The One Who Got Away by maevelin.
The characterization of Colin is so multilayered and complex, and he is pretty unhinged from the forth chapter on lol. And not only that, but Penelope is a bad bitch here, and like, everything about this fic is perfect sans the fact that there is only 9 chapters written, and by the scope of the emotional buildup you just know that its going to be a giant one.
The more niche one is (to be the one) to walk in the sun by DollyPop, starryspindel. But they both are unhinged there.

@sonyawix5871 OMG Thank you!!! they sound great! I was reading one recently called Ruin by Sea_Dragonfly on ao3 (it is a smut) and its super good! It takes place after season 2 and they did a very good job with the characterization.
