Loving this show. Probably the most natural long form player interview environment I've seen from a podcast, whilst not skirting around/shying from interesting topics. Keep it up!
Rekkles, after his stint back on Fnatic in 2023, was reportedly asked by an interviewer the following question-- "Are you upset?" To which he responded: "I fucking wish I was Upset."
Ah, yes, he'd give up all his MVPs, his LEC trophies, the respect of his Korean peers and his Worlds Final to become the perennial bridesmaid of LEC ADCS.
Always good to hear from Upset, even if he also was coping about EU slightly, but not to the same level as Nisqy. Also super excited about Apa, probably top 2 guest from NA I would like to hear from, the other one being Inspired.

Canyon despite being the best carry jungle in the world has Sejuani and Trundle as his top 5 most played champions. Unfortunately for Bo, every good jungler needs to learn how to be a dog.
IDK if that criticism is even completely true. He's done well on Maokai Sejuani games too. His laners were just way too bad in that winter split. By the time the roster improved, Bo's kicked. Also, for all that talk about Chinese players having bad macro, you can see that EU macro this year is actually worse than the LPL. This is especially true for the top 8 teams.

Yamato added, he feels like Targamas expects the rest of the team to know what to do and how to react without his input; 6. Shoutout to Targamas for reviewing games with Vladi. People gotta realize that ADC isn't a playmaking mechanically gifted role. The job of the ADC is to sit behind and attack enemy frontline. If your frontline dies before theirs, your team usually made mistakes. The ADCs rarely stand out on their own, and if they stand out the chance of them throwing games is much higher.
Upset's disdain with the community/broadcast Adam rivalry is similar to the Doublelift Regi shit being used as powering the 100T v TSM rivalry that one split.
The argument on the correlation between good performance, number of soloQ games played, and motivation can be a bit flawed. You might think a team that is struggling would lose its motivation and thus somewhat give up on the game and play less soloQ. But considering individual skill level is not as big a factor in LEC as other aspects of the game, it is not so wise to invest enormous time in this area, when the team might be massively lacking in others. I'm not denying skill disparity between players, which obviously exists. Rather, my opinion is that in LEC the overall skill level is somewhat homogenous, with few exceptions (G2, FNC). It is more logical to choose an approach that maximizes reward for a given effort (time invested vs performance) and focus on higher return activities in a given context (for example, scrims, game reviews, drafts, game plans, team building, etc.). This would then reduce time alocated to soloQ and shift it to other activities.
Oh God, give someone like Jankos, Bwipo or Mikyx in team for this guy 😂 I personally sufer seeing him talking about no makro in teams while he is sooo good player 😢
So we should just accept as normal a player having that behavior? Doesnt like games very late so he doesnt put in the effort, doesn't sleep well so he doesn't put in the effort, doesn't like the meta so he doesn't put in the effort, at what point are we going to take ESPORTS serious? In which esport or sport do you want a player who's not willing to put in the effort to be better, to make the team better and to acomplish his own goals? Should we just ignore all this because sometimes he plays great in finals and internacionals although we never go that far? Like people need to wake up, ESPORTS personalities needs to wake up or all of this it won't last that long and im not talking about FNC, i'm talking ESPORTS as a whole and you guys are passionate about the game and ESPORTS and people like you should raise more awareness and actually call out the wrong doings of other people in the scene.. Listen, i've been a fan of Fnatic since the early league days, i've always loved this team and this esport as much as i love football and my club which was something i grew with and now i find myself forcing me to watch the games from my team and do you kow what i feel in the end? Nothing, every loss and every win the sentiment is the same "Yay, another one", it's so freaking hard to show enthusiasm man, i know of people who not only gave up of FNC but the esport itself, i am still here but i also don't know how long i'll last, it's just sad to see the state of this esport, all of this lack of motivation from either players or organizations that just don't put in the work to form a healthy competitive environment it's just INSANE to me, and you can argue whatever you want, even that back in day there were a lot of mistakes too, that the meta was different and a bunch of other things, but back in the day there was something that it's becoming real scarce nowadays, and that is hunger and excitment.
You have to actually be educationally subnormal to think this is a LEC podcast and that Dom said anything about quitting LEC except for this being the last year of him watching LEC.
when G2 chose Rekkless over Upset he should have gone for the bag to NA, he was too good to be on dogshit orgs. KC being the worst of them but I get why he joined, i don't get why they didn't dump Saken and Targa after winter.
Again no constructive criticism on the guests performance over the last splits. Also I wonder if it's so hard for these players to judge their own poor performances, how do they plan to improve if they cant see they dont play at their best (not even close to it) Blaming your teammates on everything and not yourself is just a surefire way you never gonna get any better. Not a good mentality for an athlete.
Wait so pretty much everything the bo "detractors" said about him was true and been completely confirmed the past 3 podcasts? Great mechanics.. but that's like 5th way down the list of what you want from a jungler.. I hope he gets another chance.. but lets be honest Doinb was one of a kind type of player.. i doubt many mids are gonna be micro managing the whole team.. So if nobody in the East will pick him up.. who could he even work with in the West? Caps/Mikyx?
He needs to swap to ADC that's what, if he has such great mechanics. He can play completely mute if he wants to. I don't get why guys are so resistant to the idea of role-swapping. It's like the first role they played 6 years ago on summoner's rift is what they absolutely need to play in pro. Lebron went from PG to SG to SF to PG to PF to C to SF in basketball.

Prob will be Bwipo
he said it at the end. it's APA.
The nail biting Upset need to set his nerves even more straight..
lol
when G2 chose Rekkless over Upset he should have gone for the bag to NA, he was too good to be on dogshit orgs. KC being the worst of them but I get why he joined, i don't get why they didn't dump Saken and Targa after winter.
is this show actually about pro player retirement home or what?
Again no constructive criticism on the guests performance over the last splits.
Also I wonder if it's so hard for these players to judge their own poor performances, how do they plan to improve if they cant see they dont play at their best (not even close to it)
Blaming your teammates on everything and not yourself is just a surefire way you never gonna get any better. Not a good mentality for an athlete.
Excited to see an lcs guest coming would love to hear from blabber or Vulcan 2 guys that have also got a lot of heat from the community
This podcast would be so much more watchable without Thorin :,(
