A couple of questions if I may; I'm running Windows 10 (64 bit) and heard that there was issues with loading the software... Any first hand experience with this? And secondly while watching your tutorial (3:00 mins in) I didn't see any E9x series in the chassis list. Does that mean the software does not cater for E90, 91, 92, 93 vehicles? All coding is done the same way the only thing that changes is the module ( in this case on my year it was "LMA") and then the code your looking to make aktiv is "HEIMLEUCHTEN_FUNKSCHL" once again on my year bmw. For different years sometimes the name changes. But the coding is done the same as the videos just substitute the correct module and change (search document) for the correct code name and then either aktiv *active or not. Depending on the result you want.
I just tried this as my first coding practice, followed everything, in my case (2009 E61) I have to activate only the first line as the second one is already active. I updated it and reread it just to make sure its updated, but the mirrors doesn't fold when I keep pressing the lock button. I would like to have this option and windows roll up in case they are open. Any suggestions? I always fold the mirrors by pressing the button in the door console.

yes, you have to look by your cars make and year online, also if you do not have motors in you mirrors it won't work. But you can use the same process to change other codes like turn on window roll up from key fob, down is usally factory

check the port on you drivers side floor area, some look like a big block plug labled ODB, and others look like a computer internet cord. However sellers list it buy make and year if compatible.

I use a little net book mini laptop I had laying around, and used TeamViewer desktop sharing software(free) to allow him to remotely set it. Whereas it was a session that I can see him setting it up moving my mouse around on my computer. I ended the session once he opened notepad and typed alright as you can see I'm done signing off good luck coding. They can't hack your machine or anything your watching them move the mouse and open folders and stuff.
I'm in US and just purchased a new 2016 X4M40i. I know about the coding features on some of my other BMW's that can be done to US cars. I also am aware that there are other things that can be done is Video in Motion from Euro cars. Can anyone give me or direct me to a place where I might see the code able features for both US and Euro or ROW cars? Thanks

Different years called the ecu modules different things. You will have to Google it. I had the same problem with a few mods I did and discovered the module under a different name.

Unfortunately I use a code reader I purchased from autozone to delete engine error codes.

Download it from google 'expert mode. PFL' and copy it to profiles folder

yes, same steps as in the vehicle, just utilize the correct ecu and code to activate.

There is actually a dvd that can code the newer vehicles. The new vehicles use a different cord and some can code via wifi or bluetooth with an app.
