Thank you doctor! I had a Deep Plane facelift done nearly 20 years ago and only in the last year or so have I noticed my face sagging at the jowl. Am currently searching for a plastic surgeon.
Greeting Doctor, I’m confused by your reply to the question about a second face lift after having a deep plane lift the first time around. Should they get the same type of lift or some other type of lift. If they should not get a deep plane the second time, can you advise why not
Doctor would you let us know how much is the average cost for a neck and facelift with doctors like you? Of course it is an estimate because it depends from patient to patient. That is very understandable but at least you leaves with a good idea. Thank you so much.
Please may I respectfully ask some questions: Seems like you are correct. Deep plane face lift (DPFL) is not particularly necessary for most younger patients (pts). Based on the knowledge you presented in this video... It seems like many patients are offered DPFL when the patient needs a fat transfer. Therefore would it be more advantageous for pts (with tight foreheads and minor laxity) to receive an eyebrow lift with fat transfer?
Excellent presentation Doc. I am on blood thinners for a long time due to my cholesterol, also taking Vytorin for my cholesterol. I am almost 60 years old. When do I stop the blood thinners (Cartia) before the facelift procedure? Thank you.
You have to check with your cardiologist to determine when it is safe for you to discontinue your blood thinner then discuss with your surgeon so they don't operate on you with thin blood.
I know that I need lifting and a better skin procedure, Of course I want the most bang for my buck, I just DONT want a procedure that makes me look freakish or makes no difference at all!
how do we know if the surgeon has released the retained ligaments? Is it common to experience nerve pains on the temple, behind the eyes, and running down the back of the ears? Is that a sign of real deep plane facelift?
To know if the plastic surgeon has released the retained ligaments, you would notice significant repositioning and natural contouring of the midface and jawline. Experiencing nerve pains on the temple, behind the eyes, and down the back of the ears can be common post-surgery and isn't necessarily a definitive sign of a deep plane facelift, but it indicates extensive work done in the deeper facial structures. Hope this clarifies your question.
I am planning on having CO2 Fractional laser treatment on my face in two weeks. I am considering a facelift in the next three years. Should I hold off on laser and do facelift first? Is it okay to do the laser work first?
Is a deep plane facelift referred to as a lower facelift? I talked to a plastic surgeon who said he does deep plane facelifts, but he calls it a “lower facelift.”. I find this misleading. Is this accurate?
A "lower facelift" is a vague term. A deep plane facelift is performed on the upper face and involves release and repositioning of facial ligaments and soft tissue.A deep neck lift involves removal of sub-muscular fat and sometimes modification of salivary glands.
I’m 44 and doing a deep plane cheek lift done in an hr. The surgeon says it will only take an hr because he doesn’t chat like other surgeons. Should I be worried
You probably have some scarring in your neck which can lead to more intra-opertive and postoperative bleeding but you can still have a deep neck lift provided your calcium levels are normal
I recommend that my patients can fly starting at ten days to two weeks after deep plane facelifts but there no studies to my knowledge that support this recommendation
"should" 😂 it's always funny to see someone who decided to become a DOCTOR promoting unnecessary traumatic surgeries to the body just so that he can keep on getting rich all the while spreading fear mongering among aging. Maybe you SHOULD get a facelift "Doctor".

You can have repeat facelift. Probably would pot for a different technique second time around

@@KChapman6079something less invasive probably since you only have a little bit of laxity. Just a little touch up i think
Thank you very much for the video...could you talk about deep plane nerve damage risks on an upcoming one? Thank you! 😌🙏🏻💙
That was an excellent presentation, you inspire much confidence in your practice!
Glad you liked it!
My Sisters 5 year old grandson asked her “ Mimi why do you have gills?” 😂. He was speaking of her neck . Lol out of the mouth of babes .
They’re too honest 😭
deep plane is actually pretty straight forward it simply lifts everything all at once (the facia) and the recovery period is quite quick too

Fat transfer solves volume loss. While a facelift helps to lift the soft tissue upwards. One is not a substitute for the other.

what is your opinion about FOTONA 4d non-surgical face lifting procedure? Thank you doctor for informative content:)
Excellent and informative presentation
What’s the difference between High Smas and Deep Plane Facelift? Is High Smas technically more difficult? Many thanks:)

Doctor what is the typical cost of a deep plane facelift ?
Hello Doctor, is there is a defined age that Depp Plane Facelift is recommended than a simple neck lifting?
can this help a little bit with acne scars on the cheeks and lower jawline? and how please?

You can have a fractional laser tratment now and a facelift later. Fractional CO2 lasers are also commonly performed at the same time
Can a 62 year old have a deep plain face lift and upper and low eye lift with laser skin treatment. And how much would this be x
Yes, certainly that is an ideal age to have plastic surgery. Prices range throughout the country.

Wish Dr. Kopelman practiced in California, I would trust him to operate on my face.
I am always a plane✈️ ride away and we frequently have patients from across the country fly in for surgery and consultations.

Unlikely for a deep plane lift to only take an hour to perform.
how did it go?

Why are you here? We don't need your negativity. If you love your turkey wattle and drooping jowls, great! But some of us appreciate having solutions.
You're right. It's on my list of " things to do"! But my patients come first :)
I didn't see any fear-mongering. Perhaps you shouldn't be watching these videos since you are, apparently, against such surgeries. :)
