Oh Matthew, you fell for it and thought you are chosen by God to be the Messiah? You are not the only one who has experienced similar things, with signs and miracles and all that. Your experience has been tailored just for you, so perhaps in a way you could feel "special" about this attention you have received, but it is not a positive thing, and if you ever wake up to the deception, it will probably be very difficult to let go of it completely and live to be healed from the damage it has done to you. You think that this "god" respects you, but it does not. It hates you and every other human being, and it especially hates the God who created us. It preys on us in a multitude of ways, and you have fallen in its snare.
During my experience, I tried my best to act "normal" to the outside world (including my wife), and also tried to analyze everything I experienced in a rational and "scientific" way.
The entity just kept piling up evidence after evidence to convince me that I am the chosen one (including things like my name, time of birth, childhood events etc) and animals, people and the very laws of nature itself seemed to be under its control, and it could also predict future events and synchronize the outside world with my thoughts to convince me that it was all for real.
I was thrilled that there is actually a meaning to this horrible place, that my life has a point, and that in the end everything is going to be fixed, and that I was going to be richly rewarded for playing my part.
While it is true that there is a meaning and that everything will be fixed, following this powerful deceiver and enemy of God only leads to sharing its ultimate fate: eternal death.
