This pack seems fantastic. In particular I'm glad the issue with Shadow's eyes in the first wave did not carry over to this release. That's a relief. Can't wait for mine to get here.

Considering that Shadow is casted primarily in black plastic, it makes sense why his lighting effect is unfortunately muddled and looks dim when compared to Sonic’s lighting effect, as black plastic does ‘eat’/obscure light!
This is an issue with black plastic in general across any toyline honestly, as light naturally can’t easily pass through black or dark surfaces, as it’s wavelengths gets absorbed! 😔 Since Sonic was casted in blue plastic, light can more easily pass through it, hence why he looks wayyyy more brighter in comparison! ⚡️

My target was stocked full of these and all of wave 1. None of the figures lit up in the box so I didn't grab it. Thought I'd wait for reviews and you directly addressed it. Going back to grab a set tonight

I found bike Shadow and I was able to get this set from Target's website but I can't for the life of me find the regular Shadow release. Also I didn't know these also lacked the butterfly joints as well.🙃

Jokes aside, it's a little disappointing that Jakks didn't put those expressions on the Wave 1 figures, they look a lot better, although it's also disappointing that the light-up ones lost articulation.

Black has a hard time letting colors through. I dont know why they didnt think of something else for Shadow.
I LOVE the light up eyes but I HATE the quills, they dont look good imo. Too bad the single release wave 1 Sonic didn't have that facial expression and the it's also too bad the wave 1 Shadow didn't have the fixed eyes like how the 4 pack fixed them.

Not true first thing most of them are exclusive if not all of them and to buy one separate it’s 15 so 15x4 60 and it’s only 55
For four 5inch figures, two of them being able to light up, $55 is a good deal
Hasbro would be charging 80 to 100 for four if they released these.
