I agree with you alwaaaysss. I’ve been with my boyfriend for six years and we are constantly asked about engagement, marriage, and kids. The kid question bothers me more than anything. And when I respond “I don’t think I want to have children” people feel entitled to ask me why or act shocked by it. It’s incredibly rude. People need to have limits with how much they ask people / the way they phrase their questions. Ily Keaton!

First of all Keaton I just wanna say good for you!! It’s so hard to push yourself out of your comfort zone. When you mentioned saying yes to the video and asking Nat to come with you because of course you wouldn’t do it alone… it reminded me that a huge part of my own growth has been to do things alone. I.e. run errands, workout, get food, etc. I don’t know if you struggle with that aspect at all but that may be a great specific way to practice getting out of your comfort zone!! 💕 again most of all I’m proud of you and inspired for sure!

I think there’s a difference between saying “so when are you gonna have kids” and “do you want kids”. I think it’s harmless for an unknowing person to ask if you want kids, they just want to know if that’s something you want in life. I understand that we don’t know what a couple might be going thru but I don’t think it’s rude or inappropriate to objectively ask if someone wants kids.

as a portland girlie i would agree that its a very different lifestyle! i think if youve grown up in the pnw its a much easier adjustment! so happy ur thriving in la!!

before i got engaged the most annoying thing was everyone asking me when he is going to propose. especially people that i wasn't even close to. i definitely agree it is just one of those things you just shouldnt ask.

yes, people can be upset or triggered by the kids question, but that is why there is awareness for instances like miscarriages & infertility. idk never heard someone speak of kids like u did & that’s fine, just interesting!
