- I went to see the movie 'The Holdovers' recently, and at the very beginning of the film is this song. I loved it straight off the bat, and presumed it was from the early 1970's as that is when the film is set. When I got home I looked it u, and it turned out to be this song by Damien Jurado, released in 2014 on his album 'Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Son'. It is a wonderful refresher lesson in so many things, but primarily in embracing simplicity. In the writing, in the instrumentation, in the recording. And I love every bit of it. Hope you enjoy this version of it.

Very beautiful!!! Wow!!!
Thanks Albert
This is awesome, I’ve been researching the song for past couple weeks trying to learn. Is it possible you could post a video explaining the picking?
Hi Robert. Thank you. It's such a great song isn't it. I am not currently in the habit of posting explainer videos, although I have been asked the same question about other songs in the past so that might change. I do teach guitar on zoom though if that is something you might be interested in?
Hey brother, first of all great one! I am just interested in the finger pattern, can you please tell me what it is? I am finding it hard to decode it
Thanks, glad you like it. re finger pattern, I don't really make tuition videos. I do teach on zoom though if you would like a private lesson?
