- If you're using Anaconda and python (they are a great choice for data science and data analysis applications), then you should be using environments. I explain why and how to use them in this video.
3 Data Science Learning Platforms I would recommend

i have visited england when i was 12 years old, one of the best travel i have done in my whole life. my dream is to visit it again one day again. i discovered london, oxford, the tames, big ben, i was in an english family, what a great souvenir, i was like in a harry potter movie before even harry potter was wroten.... i like your town too. my best greetings too all england. cheers
lol,are you me?
I just purchased the learning python on Udemy by you starting now and going well!
ok, What if I created an environment and installed some module let's say sklearn.. and after that I create an another environment where I also need sklearn and I install it again. Does it take additional space on hard drive?
In a nutshell: Yes the package gets installed for each environment separately.
I FINALLY understood it!!! Thank you so much!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Anaconda and miniconda make working with Python for data science projects very easy.
Short and sweet.Well explained Sir🤓
Loved it, to the point, excellent vid.
Very informative
Thanks for the clear explannation!
I love that you're just taking a stroll through countryside! It looks very much like my own 'thinking office' ;)
Hey Giles, great vídeo, great subject
Thank you for this, this was really really helpful. Can you make a video about packages, libraries and modules (their differences) and what the difference is when you import something, when you import everything and when you write from x import y.This was always a bit confusing for me.
You mentioned that that's the simplest way to do it but, I use anaconda navigator which seems to be a great gooey for adding libraries creating new environments deleting old environments etc. Am I missing something by doing it that way instead of using the command line?
Thanks! Can you recommend some resources for a. Ore elaborate treatment of this topic?
I like your positive language
I use virtualenv (venv) and pyenv instead of conda. Is there any specific reason why to switch to conda? Thanks!
conda has easier to remember commands and works across various languages (R and scala for example)
This topic needs a lot more than 6 minutes and 3 command lines.
Agree
Nah not really imo
How do I fix a problem where when I pip install a package to a specific environment it says "Requirement already satisfied" ?
ClearCase had similar functionality.
do i clone the root env every time i create a new one?
Why my _conda shell automatically stops running?
Is there any reason why most Anaconda users created environments at the default location (C:\Users)? It is so strange that almost everybody does not mention that you can create an environment at different locations.
anaconda is a nice way to accumulate bloat on your system, i wouldn't use it if it isn't absolutely necessary
Am I first? Cool
Me finding this video after months of using the 'base' env for everything and eventually running into a problem...
I am second
Anaconda is a such crappy software.
Lovely 😍💋 💝💖❤️
