Finally, the game back to the Roots. Great job KT for taking a lot of steps in the right direction. However, there is still a lot to do to make this game perfect and we deserve a perfect game after DW9 fiasco. So I'll point out to some of the aspects I believe players wanna see in DWO. If we don't get to play as any of the other famous faces from the era, I hope we get a truly robust skill tree or move set tree something to that effect to keep progression/leveling fresh !
This looks freaking epic. Making allies useful and integral to gameplay and winning is such a great move. There are so many good things here, I can't wait to play this.
Im amazed by the new game engine and the graphical improvement. This game will benefit alot from ray tracing as its now more accessible and popular. The addition of the characters aging throughout the story will feel a lot more grounded narratively speaking. However, I always felt the time between and during battles are poorly portrayed because its a game adaptation trying to rush the story. I believe the series will benefit from a longer emphases on the longevity of battles and the story in general. For instance, from my understanding Cao Cao's campaign on the Northern territories wasn't just the Battle of Guan Du. That was only the beginning. There were multiple battles from multiple frontiers. Cao Cao wasn't there to witness every battlefield. It was near a ten year campaign. Why not portray the heavy toll it was to financially keep a campaign going on for ten years and Cao Cao's physical traits and personality change during that time frame. That will make me very invested in the story and keep me grounded to how long the 3 kingdom period was. Some characters just shouldn't even be alive in the later stages on the 3 kindoms do to old age. How about introducing the so called "shu kids" like Guan Ping or Liu Shan like they always do but show they age up to be very old near the end of the story. They shouldn't always look like they are in there mid 20s. I know thats alot to ask and too much time and money to invest for a single player game so I'll change the subject to what i really wish this franchise will head towards. I only wish they would go back to the 1 vs 100 format like in the earlier games like 3,4, and 5 (going by American releases). In the past 3 installments of the series the format has been 1 v 1000. Its an acrade hack and slash that has very flashy movesets and fast paced combos. I'll be honest. It hasn't been fun for me. All the risk that used to be in the earlier games is gone. Battles just feel one sided and too scripted. I used to have to time my combos correctly or be aware of my surroundings of enemy troops while fighting enemy officers because they could easily stagger me. Now i just spam my move sets without a care and dont get punished because the enemies are to passive with the occasional musou attack that is not even a problem because you can just avoid it with your own musou. They even got rid of musou clashes so now its very hard to get punished. It makes the game to easy. Yeah, you could just crank up the difficulty to chaos but that just hides the current games problem with a different one. Cranking up the enemy stats with steroids is a lazy way to make the game feel challenging. It just becomes into a challenge of try not to get randomly 3 shot combo into an RNG hell. Give the player the heavy choice of which officer you should target, how many troops you should clear to make your encounter easier, and they ability fight along side with your fellow officers without them feeling so useless or to dependent on the player to do most of the damage. On a side note,I understand the reason the older games pacing felt slower due to the hardware limitations of the time. It was an intentional feature to have everything slow down the player's progress. I belive that is what made the older games so replayable as common troops and officers had a major impact during battles. It felt like if you were not carful and rushed into a massive group of enemies you'd quickly be defeated due to the constant staggering of troops and the massive difference in moral between opposing generals. I always liked that if your generals had a better moral than the enemies they'd actually help you out in progressing the battle without feeling so scripted. I guess I just have a bit of nostalgia and bias towards the older games. I still have a blast with the newer games but I always keep coming back to 3, 4, and 5. There is some much replay ability with trying out different ways to beat different battles, hidden cutsceens and voice lines. Im sure no one is reading this comment but this series holds a very special place in my heart. Its just a game. But a very special game to me. I hope to see it succeed for many years to come, even if it's just a niche game. Koei, W omega force, and all its developers, if you see this, thank you for all your hard work and dedication to this franchise.
Sort of like open world map but not open world as well. Looks like they learn their lesson. Still kept the open world idea but not too focus on it. So, will we get to hear more Cow Cow?

Is that dynasty warriors 4 hu lao gate remix????? one of the best music from that game nice remix!
I'm glad they added traps and strategy's
THIS IS WAY BETTER THAN 9 YALL LEARNED YALL LISTENED IM SO EXCITED
Sort of like open world map but not open world as well. Looks like they learn their lesson. Still kept the open world idea but not too focus on it. So, will we get to hear more Cow Cow?
I love this series
The combat looks awesome! Taking a bit of souls-like but still keeping the Warriors identity, amazing
Wow, seeing those troops advancing is insane, looking forward to it.
3:52 damn that's the biggest charging ever seen in DW games.
Is like a combination of previous series from DW6 to DW9 mix all the battles system to a new one, look great can't wait to buy it
We're Muso Back with this one boys
Loving the direction and finally have a Next Gen Dynasty Warriors...Imagine the Empires Series unless they included it within the game then that would be insane
this game looks fucking awesome and the idea of having a protagonist is what i always dreamed of
Bro.... FINALLY a dynasty warriors game that its not a walking simulator with your forces been almost next to useless ! Proper Morale system , defend , attacks, loved the siege , war councils etc... Yeap i am sold! Looking forward to this game! It has vibes of Kessen 2 and from Empires !
Awesome, can't wait for playing this♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Fireeeeeee and the music!!! My childhood😢
Finally it feels like in the real battlefield charging with your allies 👏👏👏
Wow. They're actually doing it right this time. Feels like dw4 but just upgrading everything to current Gen specs. Now i hope they just keep the characters original weapons 🤞🏼
I like that they are remixing the older game music!
Finally a dynasty warriors game more like the old ones, very excited to play it.
Ive always been a fan of the koei tecmo warriors franchise just fun arcade video games to the core! HOWEVER one thing I have never understood is how intrusive the u.i. it seems cleaned up a little here and maybe minimized. Just Hope we have options for turning off certain things on screen to be more immersed in the action! Hope it'll be a good one
Finally doing it right, even incorporating some aspects for DW Tactics
No way they're going back with the earlier series' soundtrack... it's going to be sick!
A remixed Hu Lao Gate music! I'm locked in, baby!
This is the only kind of game that is actually set on a battlefield and this game really makes you feel it. It's going to be great
i'm gonna feel like hi shin playing this game. lookin fantastic so far
can't wait, but still long time until this game released
Cant wait!
FINALLY HUGE BATTLES
Wow I haven't felt excited about a Warriors game is such a long time, but this actually looks really good. I can see the inspiration from other great games such as Mount & blade, Total War, Kessen, etc.
The enemies are actually fighting back. Haven't seen that since DW4
feels like isekai-ed DW. Looking forward to play it.
I wish they had a hardcore mode where you couldnt slaughter 1,000 people at a time. Those big battles would be alot more fun and engaging if you had to actually work for kills.
This looks so good!
DW3-4 soundtracks are gonna hit hard in this one.
