Her tone was not darker and I wish you all would stop saying that. It was brighter. Contrary to popular belief she is still singing with the same voice as the 80s but she scaled down some of her peak notes to make room for ballads and a few mid and up tempo songs with the added collection she had at time with TBG soundtrack
