The little rope circles can also be used as coasters. Love the idea of a removable headboard.
8:08 I used this technique to make a toddler bed and used wooden sticks to make the thingies that hold it up
Loved the replaceable bed frame definitely going to make that sometime soon!! Might even have to give it a shot at 1/12 scale too

The headboard reminds me of the iconic wicker "peacock chair". There is a great vox video about it - the history, the symbolism, and its enduring style. I think you will appreciate your place in that heritage with this design

You can use parchment paper over your sketch to glue on. It will peel of. That way you can work seeing what the front will look like.
