I as a Sri Lankan highly disagree with your title and the fact that the family destroyed the Sri Lankan economy. Sri Lanka was facing a down in the economy from the Easter bombing it self which made it worse from the pandemic. However the opposition and other parties who have played a major role in the crash of the economy are framing the Rajapaksa family to this. It is how historical politics have worked in Sri Lanka and elections in 2024 or 2030 will prove otherwise.
