Move The Judge
Captain Ebony
Tell you what you gotta do
I´ll lay it on the line for you
The time is here, the time is now
I´ll tell you why, I´m gonna show you how
Hold on up, I want to talk with you
Let me tell you what you got to do
The time is right, your time iss now
You´ve got to try and move the judge somehow
Chorus
So get your body pumpin´
Ebony´s Retinue
Get your body pumpin´
Captain Ebony
Feel the beat
Ebony´s Retinue
Feel it, feel it
Captain Ebony
Got to get em movin´
Ebony´s Retinue
Movin´, movin´
Captain Ebony
Get the judges on their feet
Ebony´s Retinue
Jump up on your feet
Captain Ebony
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Ebony´s Retinue
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Captain Ebony
Move the judge Move the judge
Move the judge Move the judge
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Ebony´s Retinue
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Move the judge Move the judge
Move the judge Move the judge
Captain Ebony
Forget the Time Lord and his ways
He´s just trying to end your days
He´s set against us right here and now
We´ve got to try and move the judge somehow
Captain Ebony and Ebony´s Retinue
CHORUS
Captain Ebony
Find the words within your soul
Move ém now and you´re in control
Let the rhythm of life run free
Move the judges and make ém see
Captain Ebony and Ebony´s Retinue
CHORUS
Love this soundtrack. Went to see this in the 80's, amazing and way ahead of it's time (excuse the pun 😉). Thank you so much for sharing, brings back happy memories 😀
Never managed to see this in The Dominion, and would be wary of seeing a modernised version (I suspect using Multi Media & 3D specs etc). The physical hydraulics of the staging, the mechanical "robotic" head of Akash, the sub-bass rumble to shake the seats as you were transported in to space, the overall spectacle etc can NEVER be repeated unless a theatre is specifically gutted & rebuilt to accommodate the show. Such a pity.....
Everything you mention is right, I went to see it twice within 2 weeks even though it was 220 miles away from where I live, Dave Clark put his own money up to stage this show it was his idea the musical, normally London stage shows are backed money wise by London banks they thought he was crazy, it was technically 15 years ahead of its time, only years later did stage shows begin to have features like the musical Time, unfortunately due to the technicality it never moved from the Dominion, Cliff Richard was the star for a good while and then David Cassidy took over the role. I would love to see a FULL video of the show now, I'm sure Dave Clark must have a copy somewhere.
