I much prefer the mario kart 8 version. What I really love in this version is the sound of that torrential rain, I could easily sleep to that. I also really love the way the rain falls really big and heavy, also the colour of that sky is absolutely spot on. I wish Koopa/Neo Bowser city was a level actually featured in an actual mario game where you could walk around and explore the whole city searching for treasure, it would be so fun. Pity it wasn't featured in something like Super mario odyssey.
same i lost the cartridge when i was younger, i tried looking for it because i wanted to replay and 100% it, then remember i lost it, 15 and i still miss this game
Only in Japan is Bowser named Koopa. The name change to Koopa City applies to English speaking countries like the UK, where he is still called Bowser. The only possible reason I can think of for this change is that the city is inhabited by members of the Koopa species (such as Hammer Bros., Dry Bones and Koopa Troopas).
GamerboyEnvy Gaming and more I like the 3DS one better becuase it's more "neo" looking, and it had more stuff that try and slow you down (like those water puddles) and it has the gliding shortcut (it is still in the Mk8D version, but almost impossible to do if you hit the sign)
Its been a while since i have play mario kart 7 with my friends 3ds i miss playing this game now i play mario kart tour bc this stage is now in mario kart tour
@@MidnightCapricorn2696 no, actually its because i have the english version of the game and the names are slightly different than the US version. ty anyway tho
@@ottolehmann5286 Oh, the UK version is Koopa City, if you have the Star Cup unlocked. I play the PAL version too, I just prefer calling this track by its US name. The other names in the PAL version that are different are cool.
I absolutely LOVE this track, but I love what they did with it in Mario Kart 8 even more!
Same
They added Dry Bones, Parakoopa, and of course the Hammer Bro!

I love this stage to death; the futuristic aesthetic is the core reason why.

I think we can all agree that MKT's version is the least aesthetically pleasing.
It's on a phone, what do you execpt?
For it to look at least as good as MK7's? Just because MKT can't have graphically demanding stages doesn't mean they have to look ugly.
Kind of looks like he took over New York
Mario Kart 7.
Star Cup.
