I think the content is great but as an original player, we’ve burned through everything. The only reason to logon is for moonstones. But they need to reduce premium shop prices or give us more moonstones. They fixed the store but now I’ve purchased everything again so now my shop is “empty”
This I found myself only coming in to do the dream snaps for the moonstone but then I realized why am I even purchasing premium items with the moonstone? If I'm only going to use some during a dream snap and half the time my dream snaps some weeks they'll get 900 another week they'll get $4,000 and it just doesn't seem worth it to put all the effort in to to shoot for $4,000 if every time I put effort in and sometimes I get $600. So at this point I don't know what I'm even doing. There's so much that we can do each week like little things, but I miss that main story. I almost thought about starting the game completely over because I just loved the nostalgia of that first game play where there were cinematic clips and a storyline and the characters were in clips together and now it just seems almost arcade-like.
@@RhondaRose5I noticed this happened a week or so after that bad bug. I think it had to do with that but it does say gameloft is aware of the moonstone boxes not appearing
I’m frustrated but not quitting. Dreamsnaps are almost impossible with crashing every 20 mins. The fact we have no hot-fix for the crashes is insane. It should be/have been done before the next update imo.
This game is just unenjoyable . It’s exciting ofc to get new content but the bugs and crashes and all the issues is just embarrassing at this point: they hardly communicate with the community and it shows.
The only reason I want to quit is because of the story line. The tree house with all of the “doorways” that lead to nothing. Yet we can’t move the tree house. The Dark Castle with all of the rooms that won’t be opened later??? I don’t understand the purpose of having the dark castle or the treehouse atp. Also, they need to release more FREE furniture and clothing. I know that it’s not ACNH, however, with ACNH they give loads of clothes with different colors.. loads of furniture with different colors and styles. I can’t understand why they are hoarding regular furniture and simple clothes, shoes and hairstyles.
Same. And the fact that the story isn't even finished yet lets us know there's a lot of life left in this game. People should be happy we're getting a bunch of different updates outside of the main story line.
Lack of transparency & Skull rock progress, generic cosmetic items in the shop that aren’t related to any movies/IP. I’m basically playing for the exclusive ⭐️Starpath items I don’t want to buy in shop bcuz I missed the starpath…
I'm not sure why everyone is hedging their bets on Skull Rock. IMO it'll open up the same way the cursed cave did on Dazzle Beach and that'll be the end of it. People are hyping it up way too much and then will blame the developers when it's finally here.
I am not spending money on these moonstones, and you can't rely on Dream snaps. The bugs, scrooge's store, I have started to lose interest.. and i love this game
My 2 biggest issues are the price of the premium shop and switch players still being at 3000 furniture pieces cause i like to clutter my sandbox like games. But i know im speaking to the void...
Made some great points, Serroh. I have almost 2K hours in the game (of actual playtime, as I very rarely leave my console running in the bg), yet, I have to admit I'm currently close to quitting myself. The amount of crashes on PS4 makes the game so hard to actually play, it's basically near unplayable. It makes me sad cause I do love the game, but I can totally understand the people who choose to quit due to technical issues atm. The amount of bugs and lack of transparency from Gameloft is just very frustrating, and for what's meant to be a chill and cozy game, the levels of desperation I've felt from it over the past month or so, is just way too much.
I've been playing on switch since the beginning and loved the game, but the current bugs have taken any enjoyment out of playing. I've bought moonstones that still haven't arrived (I have reported it), the game now takes forever to load when it didn't before, the game crashes whenever I try to open mail and I have to restart, the game crashes whenever I try to do a heap of things. It's frustrating and now I find I'm getting to the point where I can't be bothered.
That can happen in any game. I don't know anything about coding but it sounds confusing, you can fix one problem and get another. It seems to happen more with big games like this
Honestly, I also have been thinking of quitting the game. The switch version of the game is very buggy. And the furniture limit compared to pc players is really sad. I got the game to decorate but I can’t even do that. So why even bother with getting new furniture if I can’t place it especially since the game is mostly waiting for new furniture in the store with very little story.
I no longer play this game on the switch. I was playing it on switch and PS five and the switch version is unplayable with all of the bugs the lag time. It’s unplayable.
I think a major factor is that the game caters to new players but not long-term players. There's not a lot of balance between the 2. For example, the community event rewards are great for new players but provide no real incentive for players who have played more than 6 months or so. There are also no updates to old play content. I'd love to see an update to our character levels beyond 40. Higher friendship levels and additional quests for existing villagers. Those would be great free updates to keep players interested between star paths and updates. For long term players there's not much to do beyond spend more money on premium content between updates. I also wish that old star paths would be available to purchase like dream bundles. Instead of purchasing items one by one in the premium shop, it would be better if we could just play the whole star path. Even if that star path was some crazy amount like 10,000 moonstones. It would open up all the items and provide the entertainment of going through the quests to players who missed the events. As far as the comment about more verses less villagers. I think all players want more villagers but they're running out of space for those villagers. I'd love to see an update where we can flat out choose which villagers we keep on our islands and don't. Yes, if you have the expansion, you can move villagers to Eternity Isle but even that's going to fill up fast. So, I'd rather the option to "Turn off" certain villagers. One huge factor to this is also that almost every villager has their own house, even those from the same movie. Olaf, Anna, and Kristoff live in one place. Yet Ariel, Eric, and Ursula all live in separate houses. And though logically it makes sense, it's getting really crowded.
Im to the point where its taken up a lot of my time. There are so many other great games out there that aren't money grabbing. These star paths for me have been taken up a lot of my time. I might soon be finished with this game, its broken it crashes often. Bought premium shop items are randomly dissappearing while trying to take dreamsnaps. Its getting frustrating for sure.
I'm on that list...tired of missing moonstones and want the fountain cost me 19.99....not that I don't have it....but gonna have to stop if they don't give us moonstone work👍
I love this game. I’ve been playing since day one. Purchased it the day it came out. I am frustrated with the short time frames we recently had (buttons specifically). I work full time and have a family. I can’t spend hours like some people can. Also, the items in the star path. I don’t have all of the money in the world to buy moonstones so items I want I can’t buy and have to wait until they hopefully become available at a later date. I play on switch so the glitches/unexpected crash, etc is getting really frustrating. DreamSnaps are aggravating. I consistently get minimal moonstones. Granted the moonstones are free but I spend a lot of time on them and are as good or better than the people who are getting 4k.
I am seriously devastated bc I was so excited for this game and my main issues are new content is premium shop focused. Not enough Disney in the game. I want to feel like I am living in the worlds of Disney. I will be still playing at least once or twice a week but until the main story starts back up and there is more Disney content in game without having to spend moonstones on it and I want more friendship levels and more character levels. I do kinda wish they did friendship levels like palia and only had a few levels at first and then added a level per update so there was more content long term.
This is one thing I’ve noticed with content creators sticking up for gameloft for making everything so expensive because it’s Disney and yeah I can kinda see that but at this point it just seems they’re looking to fill their pockets. The fact this bug has not been fixed is concerning and raising prices of premium items and adding more, it seems it’s more of hey download this game for free but to enjoy it purchase in app stuff. Kinda like love and deep space but yet we paid 50+ for the game plus in game purchases and that’s ehh lol
I have quit. My game is very bugged out. Lack of transparency and seemingly lack of concern for those of us who have had difficulty playing due to bugs. I get that it takes time to work on those glitches, but there was no hot fix for those complaints from the community. This game should have never made it past early stages. When you had to pay to play, this game should have been nearly flawless.
I have the switch cosole. My issue with the game is I think that with every house/new furniture we receive, we should be able to decorated our valley as we please. there shouldn't be a limit on the items we want to use. the switch is limited to 6,000 and to be honest I need more. I would like to go all out on decorating my valley.
I really think its important to acknowledge that you dont experience nearly as many of the game-ruining issues as a lot of us ans your perspective is different due to that. They launched this game on all platforms and as each update comes to pass the game gets more and more unstable. Those of us that started the game on a non-PC platform shouldn't have to buy a PC just to play. You say that you'd still play, but would you really if your xbox crashed every 5 minutes (no exaggeration) and your switch every 10-20? It seems that the more premium items I spen my real money on, the less I can use it to decorate my game because it is so unstable. And they really need to add new and fresh mechanisms to the game. Every single quest is "go get me x items" then theres an "event" you use the item is and its always just a group photo. Its getting old on top of the game crashing and having no story line updates and a metric ton of premium items (that are turning invisible) that we cant even decorate with or wear without our knees clipping through them. So i love this game and i want to keep playing, but its a raging dumpster fire and they continually opt to push out more and more premium content with no improvement or direct communication with the people throwing our money at them.
I did acknowledged that at 5:03 and to answer your question of "would you really if your xbox crashed every 5 mins" my answer would be yes. I used to play Ark: Survival Evolved for like 8 years and there were times that game would crash literally every 5 mins and I never stopped. I understand how frustrating that can be for most and why I also mentioned I understand why players would want to quit or take a break for now. The game is in a bad state and there isnt much communication from the devs and one reason I made this video in the first place.
I'm a PC player who recently also purchased the game for my switch. My sympathy to all switch players. It is so buggy and decorating is soooooo frustrating. If I had started on switch, honestly I would have quit a long time ago. And I think it's fair to be frustrated. Afterall, if you pay for a game or program, you expect that game or program to work. I've noticed that's a really big problem in the gaming industry right now. Players are conditioned to accept poor game performance these days and there don't seem to be many standards which developers are held to when launching or fixing their games.
@amberbouley I started on the switch which was so bad that I bought an xbox series S just for this game and it was great until late last year and it started crashing and now it's unplayable on both platforms. I also played on ps just to see and it was also unplayable. So yeah, I don't really consider people critiquing the game's major issues as "venting". Enough players are upset that it's filling the sub reddit so I think that's speaks to how awful the game is being run. I just don't enjoy the negative connotation of people complaining when it's fair for consumers of a product to have criticism. And making us wait until the next update for a fix (no actual promise it will actually fix anything) while many of us can't even properly enjoy the current update without keeping us updated as far as the plan, etc. It just feels like we aren't important to them so why keep spending money/time? Don't get me wrong, I adore the game. I've been playing almost daily since launch up until this last update so I'm really sad about it.
@@DemonSmack There is a real lack of transparency. There should be fair compensation when a product doesn't work as advertised. Not a promise to fix it without a timeline.
@amberbouley emphatically agree. They really have earned the criticism being seen in the community. We work actual hours for the dollars we spend on this consumer entertainment and it should be worth it's money.
My problem is the starpath, they are so focused on the players saying "it's too easy" they ignore the people who don't have time, or are having trouble completing tasks.
I’m a switch player and it’s awful. They tried to fix my items not spawning but instead made it worse and now scrooges shop won’t even update and I can’t even play the current event 😭😭😭
I actually just bought Coral Island yesterday! Haha I was thinking about Palia, but the mass lay offs are concerning. Sorry, Disney, but until the issues are fixed, I’ll be working on my farm over at Coral Island 💔
Been playing this game since day 1,but since the last update, the crashes are unbearable. Literally cant play for longer than 10 minutes without freezing or just crashing. It's basically unplayable for me.
My problem with everything is that it feels like the developers have strayed heavily from the timeline they gave us. I love the game and I'll keep playing, but it's so hard getting excited every wednesdayaround when they used to update, and being left with nothing or a new glitch. Star paths are fun but it does feel like the constant production of star paths takes away from continuing the storyline or adding more characters at the rate they used to in the first year. It's all a balance and the developers are working hard to appease a very broad group of requests, but more information on expected updates would be really nice.
I have a love-hate relationship with the game. I love the graphics and some of the characters lol and I do love the quests. What do I hate? The bugs, the game constantly crashing (I'm on the switch). I'm now playing on my main account, and I literally can't play on my second account, but at least I can play. I do dreamsnaps, it's a hit or miss kind of thing. I go through phases where I get really frustrated and quit (rage-quit), and then I'm okay for a bit. I alternate between Dreamlight Valley, Animal Crossing, and Harvestella. I'm too invested in DDLV to completely quit and walk away. I have hope that Gameloft will do the right thing and fix the bugs, etc.
The issue with "just take a break" in response to the bugs is that i paid moonstones for a star path, and finishing that star path is a nightmare with my game crashing as often as it does. Spend time with a villager? I'll sure try, but I'm gonna have to track them down again every five minutes when i get back in. If they're aware of the issues and gave a damn, they'd patch this before allowing the star path to end.
I am a switch player. I am sorry in advance for the long comment, but for those that do not play switch, I want to share what my experience has been like. And for those that do play switch, feel free to add your own experience. I actually played during the first month of early release. I completely quit DDV after about a week because the game was basically unplayable, it crashed SO OFTEN. I just recently (2 months ago) reset my game and started playing again since the game was out of early access. Hoping that the game would be playable. Now I'm LUCKY if my game ONLY crashes once every 30-60 minutes (And I have a 1tb storage on my switch to help avoid these issues). And although crashes do not happen every time I do these things, I have had my game crash during the following actions: Saving the game Loading the game Trying to invite people in for multiplayer Planting Crops Watering Crops Harvesting Crops Mining Digging Fishing (and sometimes when fishing the little white indicator line doesn't show up, so you just have to hope your circle turns green) Time bending and using the Time bending Spheres Entering a building Exiting a Building Buying from shops/stalls Talking to a Villager Accepting/turning in quests to villagers Collecting Dreamlight from Dreamlight duties Opening the moonstone chests Accessing a storage chest Voting on Dreamsnaps Traveling to another area/realm Traveling to Eternity Isle When a harvest explosion happens Picking up stuff off the ground Feeding critters With this many eggshells to avoid, it's no wonder it crashes so often. No matter what dress my character wears, it always clips through when my character bends over (like planting/harvesting) I also don't get the walking speed bonus when my energy bar is gold, it says that I do, but my character still walks slower than a snail. A HUGE amount of crashing happens when you exit furniture mode, and the game is attempting to load back. I have gotten to the point where I only place a few items at a time while making a Dreamsnap, and I exit furniture mode every couple minutes, so that I don't lose all my progress. I have 3 extra picnic blankets and 3 extra trash cans for EVE's quest, as well as 2 extra of the crystals for Oswalt that I literally CAN'T do anything with. They are in a chest in my house, I can't sell or gift them. And I am afraid to put them on the ground. I made that mistake with the 2 extra books that you get during Olaf's quest. They are just on the floor in my plaza I cannot pick them back up, and I can only move them via furniture mode. It doesn't give me the option to remove. I have contacted Gameloft, and "they are aware of the issue, and will let me know when they find a solution" I am ONCE AGAIN very seriously considering quitting the game because it is nearly unplayable. AND they want more money. I bought the founders day pack, I bought the DLC, I even bought the Cozy edition! The game is so broken, but all they care about is making more money from the premium shop. Gameloft doesn't care about this absolutely wonderful community. They do just BARELY enough to make it seem like they care. But I feel more and more each day, that all they care about is the money. This game is PAID now! EITHER have the game be free with micro-transactions OR have the game cost money. But they have BOTH, and this is a premium price game. It doesn't even work! They can't fix the problems and issues that we all are STRUGGLING to deal with, But at least there are new premium items in the store every week...
I had the same issue with Olafs books and when I got the vacuum from the paid dlc rift in time I was able to get the books using it and I put them in a storage chest hoping this helps you
I'm a PC player who recently also purchased the game for my switch. My sympathy to all switch players. It is so buggy and decorating is soooooo frustrating.
The sad state of the video games industry right now is that most games are buggy as hell and they will release them in unplayable states and somehow not get sued. Every other product needs to come out as advertised but somehow the video game companies are allowed to do this because they promise "future patches/fixes." It's gross.
@@bacchiguu86and I really dislike when DDV content creator will make excuses for gameloft and this is toxic as well. Gameloft has known about this issue for weeks and yet they’re pumping out new premium items every week, it’s feels a bit like EA and that worries me
My issue with the game is the extreme lack of new content. It's pitiful. Totally willing to spend money on new content if necessary but it's just not there
And I also hated the fact that we will have different realms instead of adding zones. That was a big no for me. I dont enjoy porting to different areas all the time. I was hoping they'd add up on the original map.
So I found out about premium merlin chest from you. And ever since then, I was able to hunt and find communities that do them thanks to you! Once you mentioned Gameloft isn't concerned about it and not doing anything, I was totally invested in finding them. Personally, I've spent way too much on a buggy game (I'm on Switch) and the lackluster rewards from the Community event made me feel even more motivated to do these chests. Just my 2 cents, and if they don't mind, I guess I'll keep doing it.
I think there should be other ways to earn moonstones - I also feel that the premium shop items are getting to expensive - but I love the game been playing since the beginning 😊 hopefully bugs get fixed soon
I don't mind the game but the premium shop shouldn't be so expensive for a paid for game. Moonstones should easier to obtain for free, like perhaps for example 500 moonstones a day via daily challenges.
I’ve decided to take a break until Mulan. I find myself wanting to play other games instead. I’ve been playing since day 1 and just find that the game is too repetitive. I would like new main story quests. Character quests are nice but I’d like more main story plot.
the #1 thing I would like them to change, is getting rid of the stupid 'item limiter'. I should be able to decorate my valley however I want w/o absurd limits!
I played Skyrim for 800 hours. I didn’t quit. I just got my fill and I have no desire to play. You can burn out on games. People expect games to become their life and be entertaining forever
I'm a PS4 player and I can't get past the loading screen without it crashing. I spent an hour trying to get off the loading screen and when I finally did, I went to work on the Dreamsnaps. Just when I put an item down, the game crashed again. It's frustrating but I'm not giving up.
The disappearing objects is always happened to me (on switch) since we start submitting DreamSnaps. But now it's way more frustrating. So far the objects that used to disappear (for me, Idk for other switch players) was very big object (usually house skins) when I put them too far from where I'm taking my picture, and they appear when I exit to camera mode and go more close to them. Now the disappearing bug looks completely random and sometimes I'm completely not able to find those items once they disappear, I can just tap all around the map in building mode hoping to pic up something. This is a big issue since you can't extend objects limit on switch, so my counter says 300 objects and if I clean the entire valley it still counts 20/50 objects that I'm not able to find. This is obviously limited me decorating my valley.
I still log in and play the minimum each day but agree the bugs, lack of content and lack of quality of life improvements is making it tough to enjoy more. I refuse to decorate as I keep having to destroy builds for dreamsnaps but not decorating limits what there is to do between updates and running around a non decorated valley isnt very enjoyable. Really hope after fixing the bugs they look to introduce valley presets as I feel this game desperately needs it given the decorating and dreamsnap focus which actually work against each other without valley presets
We need less house skins and more biomes. theres a lot in the premium shop that we should be able to build or earn through storylines (I.e. ariels dress, peter pans outfit, the park entrance arch) im at a point that i dont even log on anymore because its getting boring. on switch i cant decorate anymore because of the item limit, theres not really anything new to grind for to make to add to your valleys, the storyline is lacking where the premium shop is getting all these cool things that you can get to decorate BUT you have to spend more money on it to enjoy the game at this point.
I personally feel that some bugs should be a top priority in resolving, but there is one thing I always try to keep in mind: Operating a game is not a sprint, it's a marathon
Im frustrated, i play on switch i thought the stupid cupcake thing ended i keep finding the red buttons and those glowy flowers are showing up. When does it end?
Basically feels like we are logging on to spend moonstones every week or play scramble coin. We NEED more in game features between updates that keep the game going.
Recently, after decorating for dreamsnaps. while taking pics some of my items fking disappear 😭 have to keep going back into decorating mode and click it back into existence. So frustrating.
I just play this game a little while every three months or so. It’s a casual game. There’s no need to quit. Just don’t play it everyday. And don’t buy everything
honestly ive cut back a lot. I only get the main stuff I want from star paths. sometimes I don't even care for it. not even skins. I am so behind on quests and stopped decorating. I like that it keeps me back but I maybe play one or two hours a day max...
I am still waiting for the fixes. My game keeps crashing. I haven’t been able to purchase anything from Gaston’s meat cart since before Christmas. I stop every time it crashes and go do something else. I play on the Switch.
I’ve quit for a whole month now. On top of moving I couldn’t ever play since the new update, I get on and not even 2-5 minutes later was the game crashing on me. I couldn’t decorate, level up Oswald, or even just buy something from Scrooge without the game crashing. I hope it’s fixed soon
I did quit playing the game a few months ago. The star path is just too time consuming and quests are just… boring? It seems to just be the same things over and over, even with new characters. For a Disney game, I feel like it could be so much more interactive. Decorating is annoying and although I am on PC, the fact it is limited to how many items you can have out is awful. I was more understanding in the beginning, but why can a game like this still not handle more than 3-6k items out?
some of the more annoying glitches and problems have had me thinking about quitting a few times. mostly the crashes and a the couple times i lost my save file but it was saved to the cloud so it wasn't that bad. the first time was bad cause it was 60 days out of date. the 2nd time was only a few hours out of date i think
I haven’t finished a rift in time, I might work on it until I finish both parts but I really don’t have any enjoyment in the game anymore. I’m also an original player, preordered it and played it at its beginning stages. I like some of the characters but most of them I could do without. There are so many other doors to open too and I feel like they’re going to keep this game going for a long time. I actually thought about being done with it and deleting my game but I think about all the quests I’ve done and the work I had to put in with crafting and cooking for quests. That kind of makes it worse though.
As new players they have a lot of content available to them before they have to buy the expansion, for those of us playing since it came out the new content is mediocre at best. It takes less then a day to get the new characters to level 10 and do the quests. I want them to provide more unlocked doors in the dream castle and a storyline to follow foe those who haven't purchased the expansion.
The game is decent as a new player, I defo got my hours out of the £25 base game cost. That said, I have no reason to play any more. Theres no game play or incentive to log on often. They seem to have put all their energy into premium items instead. And with the earn-ability of moonstones being low…I’ve just moved onto other games.
i am one which has quit. They need to get their game back in good shape. I LOVED dreamlight valley. I played since week 1, spend lots of money on it and have a fully decorated valley. Really disappointed.
For me, the crashing and the premium shop costs are the biggest issues. But I've spent money, and plan to continue enjoying what I can. When I need a break, I go play the Sims or something else. ❤ EDIT: I also wish they would spread the biomes out and give us more room...
I'm not quitting the game, but I am pretty much getting bored with no real game changing updates. I didn't finish this star path for the first time ever. I just grabbed what I wanted and haven't touched it nor have I done my dreamsnaps. I've been grinding more Palia atm.
What's been most frustrating is paying moonstones for a star path which has been AWFUL to complete. I have loved grinding for all the others! I have been having near constant crashes when in my Valley but can play fine in the Isle. It also meant I could not take part in the popcorn bucket challenge because I couldn't play in my valley and as I don't have multiplayer have no chance of getting blue buttons. :( I only managed to complete a lot today because I kept re-loading the game over and over and over (and I tore apart my biomes getting rid of items in the hope it would help). It also annoyed me that when I reported this to game loft I was told my Playstation was the problem and not the game! I've been playing since early access and have already lost a whole save due to a corrupted file back in the days when the cloud save didn't work for PS4. I love this game and when it works I could spend hours playing. Right now though, I hate it! I won't quit as I'm hopeful it will be fixed next update... fingers crossed!
I'm not going anywhere because the Disney Dreamlight Valley has been amazing to me. I am loving it. In fact, I bought 2 customize door, made it and I'm not angry about it because I just made it like a restaurant opening and closing doors. So it's like turn the negative thing into a positive thing. I can't wait for the update.
“Lose 5-10 hours a day…” Not wrong, I love decorating and can lose a whole day doing but if I’m being honest about 60% of that time is spent actually decorating, and the rest is spent troubleshooting glitches (items disappearing, restarting due to the stuttering indoors) and waiting for it to stop RAINING so I can actually see what I’m doing. 😅😬 Still love the game, but ijs. Thanks for the video. 💖✨
Before the update I never experienced crashes, now the game crashes every 2 to 5 minutes, it crashes whatever I do even if I save… it’s just unplayable. I stopped playing, I’m moving to something else.
The only thing that’s making me frustrated is the need to buy moonstones if you want to get the premium stuff. I have had dream snaps where I have over 50 of each of the required +25 of the bonus requirements and I’ve never had more than 1500 moonstones. And I see peoples on threads where they were getting like 2-4000 moonstones and they put like half the effort I put in, and it looks bare. 100% robbed
I’m not “quitting” but am definitely feeling the frustration with crashing and invisible items. The items becoming invisible is definitely annoying when trying to take Dreamsnaps. I may be playing some other games a little more until it’s fixed (perhaps Palia).
I think the price of premium shop items is just way to much now, it like if ya dont buy the stuff alot of times you dont have the good things for dreamsnaps then ya score lower and have less moonstones, i quit buying premium shop items and been scoreing so low every week that i have lost the desire to even want to play anymore( low score not all because of not buying but no desire to even log in aswell) i hope something happens to get me to want to play again soon
Need help! I need to remove my transportation device. It wouldn't remove and people are coming into my village stealing my moonstones and money. Plus taking items for my store. Now, I said NO to opening it, but... it's not. Help please!
My items are starting to disappear on Nintendo switch, for example the other day one of my transportation wells disappeared it was so weird and it wasn’t just that, but Daisy mirror vanity disappeared too
I definitely get burnt out from all the glitches but I always come back to the game and just live with the glitches because it’s a fun game 😂 I also have experienced the invisible glitch where the items disappear, but I also work around that too. I feel like ever since we got Belle, that’s when I noticed how buggy the game really is.
Sadly I'm just not interested in the game anymore I can't waste my money on the game anymore not that anyone that's playing still is wasting but it's just not for me anymore but thank you for all your help when I played the game
I used to play non stop, but I have really slowed down, especially decorating with the crashes, freezes and bugs. I log in on Weds to do the Dreapsnap. Then play briefly each day just to do Daisy or moonstone chest, but can barely get through the 5 min autosave. If I use goofy stall or the map or menu I tend to freeze. Not been able to go to Eternity Isle, tend to get stuck doing fast travel. Got pretty bored of it now sadly.
I'm okay with the next update being delayed so they have time to fix issues already in the game. I'm sure if they don't fix the issues before the next update, there will be more people upset.

I think the content is great but as an original player, we’ve burned through everything. The only reason to logon is for moonstones. But they need to reduce premium shop prices or give us more moonstones. They fixed the store but now I’ve purchased everything again so now my shop is “empty”
I'm not getting moonstones either, haven't seen a box for a couple weeks now. Their not consistent which is sad
I’ve only been a player since last November I will tell you the shop is busted because I’m nowhere near close to collecting everything 😂
@@RhondaRose5I noticed this happened a week or so after that bad bug. I think it had to do with that but it does say gameloft is aware of the moonstone boxes not appearing
Same...my shop is so empty
I’m frustrated but not quitting. Dreamsnaps are almost impossible with crashing every 20 mins. The fact we have no hot-fix for the crashes is insane. It should be/have been done before the next update imo.
This is the first star path I didn’t get to complete because of these ridiculous crashes 😭
I don't see myself going anywhere, I still enjoy the game and the current pace of releasing content lets me keep up on other things easily.
same here I am staying
Same. And the fact that the story isn't even finished yet lets us know there's a lot of life left in this game. People should be happy we're getting a bunch of different updates outside of the main story line.
Same
Completely agree..same here
All of this. Been playing since EA and this is my disney fix
My only issue is the crashing. I literally get on to check the shop and try to work on my dreamsnap for a few minutes then get off
Literally same for me - except, instead of working on dreamsnaps, I resource hunt to save and sell for money to check the shop. Lol.
I ❤ the game but they really do need to sort out the bugs because it is getting really annoying
Lack of transparency & Skull rock progress, generic cosmetic items in the shop that aren’t related to any movies/IP. I’m basically playing for the exclusive ⭐️Starpath items I don’t want to buy in shop bcuz I missed the starpath…
💯 agree
I’m honestly so sick of seeing dressers in scrooges shop, I don’t care about these items lol
You're not alone, many of us are playing because Gameloft has us hooked on FOMO and has been doing this for years with mobile games.
@@hexthepatriarchy-1111 that makes me sad because it really is a great game with so much potential
A big issue is they also tend to do bug patches with updates which is good but then there seems to be more bugs after the update
That can happen in any game. I don't know anything about coding but it sounds confusing, you can fix one problem and get another. It seems to happen more with big games like this
@@JessFirefox I coded some mini-games and some programs in high school and it was 98% crying because nothing worked right and 2% coding.
The switch has been very buggy lately
I no longer play this game on the switch. I was playing it on switch and PS five and the switch version is unplayable with all of the bugs the lag time. It’s unplayable.
I just want them fix the crashing... I'm tired of doing something and then it crashes and I have to do it again
I love playing Disney dreamlight valley but the crashing on the nintendo switch is annoying
I haven’t played in awhile because it’s so repetitive and it’s hard to continue this game I guess what I’m trying to say is burnout atm
Serroh: I don't think we're going to get it until the second half of this year
Me: Serroh. It IS the second half of the year (almost)
I actually just bought Coral Island yesterday! Haha I was thinking about Palia, but the mass lay offs are concerning. Sorry, Disney, but until the issues are fixed, I’ll be working on my farm over at Coral Island 💔
I bought Coral Island when it first came out. I stopped when DDV came out, now I'm going back to Coral Island as well. Happy Island living!!!
And although crashes do not happen every time I do these things, I have had my game crash during the following actions:
Saving the game
Loading the game
Trying to invite people in for multiplayer
Planting Crops
Watering Crops
Harvesting Crops
Mining
Digging
Fishing (and sometimes when fishing the little white indicator line doesn't show up, so you just have to hope your circle turns green)
Time bending and using the Time bending Spheres
Entering a building
Exiting a Building
Buying from shops/stalls
Talking to a Villager
Accepting/turning in quests to villagers
Collecting Dreamlight from Dreamlight duties
Opening the moonstone chests
Accessing a storage chest
Voting on Dreamsnaps
Traveling to another area/realm
Traveling to Eternity Isle
When a harvest explosion happens
Picking up stuff off the ground
Feeding critters
With this many eggshells to avoid, it's no wonder it crashes so often.
No matter what dress my character wears, it always clips through when my character bends over (like planting/harvesting)
I also don't get the walking speed bonus when my energy bar is gold, it says that I do, but my character still walks slower than a snail.
I have contacted Gameloft, and "they are aware of the issue, and will let me know when they find a solution"
I am ONCE AGAIN very seriously considering quitting the game because it is nearly unplayable.
@@bacchiguu86 Completely agree. In the least, I would think it would be classified as false advertising.
I still love the game as a day one player. I probably don’t login as much between updates, but I play obsessively when we get an update
What do you mean a year? I finished every available quest (other than toy story alien quest) in the main game and the expansion in less than a month
Have you collected every item from scrooge and all memories?
That's not a year either. That's a lifetime
@@Goated_Mercy you right
@@Serroh I wish I wasn't 😆
Maybe the ddlv team should add more islands to help with the to many characters?
I really wish they fix all the bug before releasing anything new in there
I don't mind the game but the premium shop shouldn't be so expensive for a paid for game.
They need to stop releasing the updates and StarPaths at the same time or at least time gate them/space them out somehow.
I want the valley to be larger! I get overwhelmed with all the things and want more space!
This!
It boggles my mind that both the Valley and the Isle are so damn small.
“We don’t know what we want.. leave us alone” was the best part!! 😂 Thank you Serroh I was having a bad day and this made me laugh.
❤ the game..just can't play due to crashes...awaiting fix...soon I hope!
We need less house skins and more biomes. theres a lot in the premium shop that we should be able to build or earn through storylines (I.e. ariels dress, peter pans outfit, the park entrance arch)
im at a point that i dont even log on anymore because its getting boring. on switch i cant decorate anymore because of the item limit, theres not really anything new to grind for to make to add to your valleys, the storyline is lacking where the premium shop is getting all these cool things that you can get to decorate BUT you have to spend more money on it to enjoy the game at this point.
I haven't quit playing, just don't play much anymore
I stopped playing in late January. I miss playing it but my game still crashes, I’m on switch.
I’ve been playing since the early access also.
The forgotten storyline has been forgotten. Lmao 😂 not quitting just taking a long break till stuff gets worked out.
You ain’t wrong
I still haven’t quit the game yet but that’s because I’m not caught up yet.
Whats a Moonstone??
The game is decent as a new player, I defo got my hours out of the £25 base game cost.
That said, I have no reason to play any more. Theres no game play or incentive to log on often.
They seem to have put all their energy into premium items instead. And with the earn-ability of moonstones being low…I’ve just moved onto other games.
i am one which has quit. They need to get their game back in good shape. I LOVED dreamlight valley. I played since week 1, spend lots of money on it and have a fully decorated valley. Really disappointed.
Definitely need more smaller house items, more lighting and curved path items
I get upset about they put us out and losing what we just did but not quitting
For me, the crashing and the premium shop costs are the biggest issues. But I've spent money, and plan to continue enjoying what I can. When I need a break, I go play the Sims or something else. ❤
EDIT: I also wish they would spread the biomes out and give us more room...
I'm just taking a break from ddv. But not quitting the game. Just waiting for mulan update
I log in once a day to check the store as that is all I can do before it crashes on the switch. It's beyond annoying.
I only managed to complete a lot today because I kept re-loading the game over and over and over (and I tore apart my biomes getting rid of items in the hope it would help).
I agree with all of this and feel your pain Always great to see you stop by the channel, Brandy
I absolutely suck every week at Dreamsnaps, and I try so hard, only to get 300 moonstones every week.
I'm trying to finish the start path, but all this fishing along with the crashes can make it tough.
Need help! I need to remove my transportation device. It wouldn't remove and people are coming into my village stealing my moonstones and money. Plus taking items for my store. Now, I said NO to opening it, but... it's not. Help please!
My items are starting to disappear on Nintendo switch, for example the other day one of my transportation wells disappeared it was so weird and it wasn’t just that, but Daisy mirror vanity disappeared too
Love this game since day one, but it's been crashing so much on ps4, it's annoying to play
Do you think Gameloft will notice and address these complaints?
Haven't played in a month. I did quit.
I haven't quit the game but couldn't play due to working overnight...😊
My issue is the game gets boring to me. I also refuse to buy moonstones 😢
