‼UPDATE FOR ADOBE PREMIERE PRO USERS ‼- I have made it easier than ever before to work with tricky audio. My brand new Premiere Pro presets are out now. One click to GREAT sound :) Check them out here: mrc.fm/presets This is a great way for you to support my channel too 🙏🙏🙏
I wish you didn’t move so fast. I’m so brand new. I can’t keep up without extreme frustration. Thank you for the information at least know it can be done.
Thank you for everything you've taught me Mike. As a podcast producer for Spotify, I've learned so much from you that has helped me master Adobe products.
great video - I am using it to fix up some audio but I feel although it does improve things there is nothing better than recording clean audio but often this is easier said then done - I also wonder whether the denoise is an alternative to the Dynamics gate - I have been using the denoise on light to remove light noisy backgrounds such as hums etc and wonder if there is a downside on this - I remember using a CB radio when I was a kid and kind of visualise the denoise and the dynamic gate like a squelch adjustment
The remedy would be recording in a suitably treated acoustic space. If the echos are as bad as the Grand Canyon then the audio probably needs to be re-recorded as that'll be beyond the capabilities of any Reverb removal option currently available.
I would suggest that your best bet for premium quality audio would be to try and reduce your dependence on the first two of those and only use them as a last resort by reducing the noise in your recording space.

Thanks, very good tutorial, but using background music when demonstrating audio effects is a little disturbing, at least for me :D
Thank you for your feedback! I understand that background music during demonstrations can be distracting. Will keep in mind!
Thank you, what do you listen to when scanning the frequency?
That's where your producer's ear comes in and you identify frequencies that make the audio sound better or worse and adjust them accordingly.
I always thought removing echo was a lost cause so thanks for the tips to at least reduce it somewhat!
👍
Your voice bass is so boosted. Not realistic. Please update it.
Thank you for your feedback!
Thanks for posting this video! MGF

Tools like denoise can be a great alternative to dynamics gate for reducing background noise like hums.
I am in a year after this video and this helps me reduce much of the echo sound in my video. Thank you
Awesome, glad to hear the video's still helping people out a year later!
I can i use this tricks in a livestream with a Rodecaster Pro via Vmix. Thank you
You can but my best recommendation would be to record, or broadcast live, from an acoustically treated space to remove the room reflections.
Top Top Top Thank you..............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for your positive feedback!
Best video on this subject I have watched thus far, thank you so much! :)
Thanks
thanks
Glad you found the tutorial helpful!
Thanks for sharing this ! Going to try this on my videos now :)
You're welcome! Hope it works great for your videos!
Mike, what are your remedies for ECHO/repeating audio (like grand canyon) the same voice overlapping, slightly quieter than primary voice recording.
The remedy would be recording in a suitably treated acoustic space. If the echos are as bad as the Grand Canyon then the audio probably needs to be re-recorded as that'll be beyond the capabilities of any Reverb removal option currently available.
@@MikeRussell Thanks much for the reply! I assumed as much.
I use DeReverb to remove the echo. Dynamic (Auto Gate) for grinding sound from noise. Parametric EQ for clarity of the speaker's voice.
I would suggest that your best bet for premium quality audio would be to try and reduce your dependence on the first two of those and only use them as a last resort by reducing the noise in your recording space.
Great
Love from UAE
Finally a decent video on this topic, thank you!
🙏
Nice video just curious you got a video on how to add an accapella like vocals to a instrumental?
Preferably audacity if possible
There is a video creating a sung jingle mixing an acepella and the music on the channel althogh it is in Audition
@@MikeRussell is audition better software than audacity and is it also free
Audition is the software I use on a daily basis. It is subscription based software
Thank you this helped a lot!
Great!
this is awesome, thanks
👍
nicely done!
Thank you for your kind comment!
Love it
👍
can you do this for audition?
Audition has all the effects and the methodology can be swapped between the two applications
That's correct 👌
@@MikeRussell thank you for your answer, its very helpful
Thx
You're welcome, glad I could help!
Perfect 👏
Thanks so much!
