@@galaxynexus-gn8612 just time the dive, and position yourself where you can take their backline, so lens is preferred to get vision advantage and rush stasis once you have enough damage to one shot quickly on solo q, it's ok to let the others go in first, so you can do a clean up once you saw an opportunity, since there's no guarantee that your team can help / cover you after you burst their core and use stasis if you go first
personally i recommend playing safe and not trying to fight/walk up to minions until lvl 5 and you can ult kill her or try and rotate when the wave is pushed in ^^ also just generally dont stand around your minions since if she has empowered q she can just hit it on the minions and you take damage. also if you know your against a ranged laner definitely take second wind to heal up from any poke

@@Ditanium she basically stayed in front of the minions whenever her q was empowered so i couldn't farm. I was really behind in gold compared to her but was still able to take some low health enemy kills.
@@randomdud7359 that's where you usually do a counter attack when she get closer if you was behind the minions, she shouldn't be able to do that unless you were already behind, i did say play safely, but it doesn't mean you play 'passively', you gotta do some 'bluffs'(as in get closer when she's on cd) to prevent her get a full control of the lane, if you're still not used to play against ranged champs, consider adding fleet rune too, and try to ping your team for help
I get why people play more with champs like this, its more easy and enjoyable, while playing with a tanky champ is way more difficult and boring, i wish the WR meta changed a little, my team always get stomped by a zed or akali
tank/tanky bruisers are the meta right now, if someone getting stomp as a tank vs assassins like akali most probably you playing it wrong or building static build(not adjusting build according to enemy comp). tanks are on steroids rn bcs of the addition of heartsteel, a casual zed/akali will have a hardtime diving you or your team in the late game, not the same as sweaty otp tho lmao
On her star guardian skin, I hate the wings effect whenever she re-cast her third and ult ability, its confusing and scary 😭😭😭 it's like she's giving a signal that she's flying her way to end you 😭😭😭

would you say theres any hard counters/really hard matchups to look out for when playing akali?
ranged is definitely tricker, but HS tank is the most problematic, can't do anything to them on AP build especially in the mid - late game
