I love that they talked about "Business Proposal" I haven't watched it on Netflix, but I read the comic and it's so good. I would definitely recommend reading the comic.

From what I've heard from some indie developers, Steam can be quite a royal [REDACTED] about the patch notes that do make it to the store page, and that's why a lot of indie devs are not quite eager to bother putting up patch notes there, or only update the front page patch notes once in a long while.
As someone with 1000s of games in their stream library, and looks at patch notes on the regular, this is one of the only games I've run into that routinely patches without using steam's patch note system. It's seemed better in recent patches. But frankly the responsibility of getting this information should not be on the user. The user shouldnt be the one that has to hunt it down. There is a patch notes announcements system in steam, that users are used to using. And if patch notes don't show up there then bring frustrated by that isn't unreasonable. -Ash
Regarding mats/rugs and messes: the mess is made 1 tile space away (the 8 adjacent spaces) normally, and increases range with Splash Zone. Messes are made around hobs and the tile a customer's chair is in. At around 29:00, with the chairs on the opposite side of the tables, the messes would never be made near where the mat and rug were placed, which is why all of the messes were made on the back side and between the tables. Chair placement is important in planning where messes will be made. ＸＸＸ ＸＣＴ Chair, Table ＸＸＸ Also, because it's related, Sink (but not all upgraded sinks) splash water puddles on the ground around them, which cleans/prevents messes. Mops also leave puddles which is how they clean and prevent messes, with the mop upgrades causing puddles to either give a speed boost or last longer.
